I have no idea how this will pan out so it's down to hope and a prayer.

Pre season and Killie give no grounds for optimism but nevertheless my heart says we win by 2. The heart has from time to time been correct in overruling the head.

Just watched the PSV highlights from yesterday and they give me the fear.

However there is the small matter of Servette to be beaten first before we can look forward to the play off.

Servette got 7 yellows and a red against Genk which tells it's own story. Go at them from the start, get the ball in their box, and every chance of a penalty or two for Tav to convert.

The big worry is our defense.

Their dreadful pitch is a bit of a leveler but we should be winning this one with a fair bit to spare.

Pre season is over and most us, myself included, have been too quick to judge players. For sure Killie are levels below the opponents we have faced so far.

Season starts in earnest a week today. To date the friendlies have been difficult to watch. I just don't see what we are trying to do.

Board have backed Beale and I want to see some cohesion today and a clear style of play.

If they are good enough then they are old enough. An old adage but still true today. Yfeko has had a solid pre season and looks the part. He must remain in the 1st team squad. 

There will be games where he can come on for 20 mins or so and that will be his season. At the moment he is not ready to be a starter. That day will come though.
