I think quite a lot of the players he brought in will stay, some of them (not all) i think see that they will never play at a club remotely as big as us again and want to take advantage, others however will walk because they can cope at playing at a club with ambition. it will be interesting to see how MW does, as forest want to get back to the good ol' days so to speak, so see what a little bit of pressure does to him down there.

am beginning to wonder however, how much of some of these players poor performances were down to either the style or the coaching. i am not a good footballer, and I have played multiple positions through the middle and i dont see how a midfielder like him could fuck that up so badly, there are basic rules to follow and you do that, simple as that, you stay central you play quick simple passes you pass forward as much as possible and you don't venture far from the center circle, and dont dive into tackles, stay on your feet, and fore the opposition either wide or inside depending. he never did any of those things at all in any way shape or form and that just does not compute with me, how can he not know, or find out that. First time i had to play CDM i youtubed a video of Makalele...job done i got this just in about 10 minutes...also with Haliday his passion has wavered in the dundee game he was at fault for one of the goals because he could not be arsed running back to help out the team...think his popularity with some fans got to his head and he thinks he can do anything and will not be held responsible.

i really like the idea of Neil McCann, but dont think it would happen, Ferguson i can understand, but part of me does not see that ending well.

Clean slate to an extent, and it should be he has no real basis to decide who is shite and who isn't..Depends as well he could get something out of a player me couldn't or a different role could make a difference. I just hope he gets rid of the ones that clearly are at their limit, haliday, kiernan, Wilson, tav, moh, all need to be moved on

I would hope it's Kenny miller, knows current squad and problems, rangers man and wants to move into coaching. Also like the idea of Neil McCann. Baz could be good but perhaps his devotion to rangers could hamper him here I would imagine he could be difficult for Pedro and might think that he knows better because am a rangers man, so to speak, need someone experienced with us, and a good football coach, not one or the other

I like the look of hardie, good touch and control and has a good eye for goal. Tbh i am glad he has been out on loan, you need to do that with young guys showing real potential, but maybe just lacking that little bit experience or self belief, what ever it may be. 2 season under his belt he will come back at end of season looking much the better player and far more confident. Hopefully Pedro can get even more out of him

A wide like to have him back honestly him and McKay on each flank, but would only want him back if he made the move happen. As he wants to be here. He just panders to his bluenoses on twitter

If he was that desperate to come back a simple conversation with his agent is all that would be needed when will these people see that he likes rangers, but loves his wage

Mckay is the type of player who needs to be told by the gaffer, when we have the ball do what the fuck you like mate, shoot cross inside outside, central wide. Who cares. mckay is a good player and can get a lot better. I think he suffered from being over coached. he needs to just do whatever he feels like, he needs to run at boys and be unpredictable and use is great range of passing in different areas of the pitch. basically give the boy a free role to do what he wants, as long as he defends on the left wing.

i think wallace was not a bad choice as captain, but was an obvious one. Anyone here would have picked him when MW came in and you could understand it, he is a top professional, he conducts himself as a captain (OFF THE PARK) but on it, i don't think he is vocal or aggressive enough to be a captain. i think when a new gaffer comes in he will have a new captain either a new player or someone from current squad. And i think being critical of Wallace as captain is not a mark against him, he has stood by the club and fans will always love him for that, BUT just because he is a good left back doesny mean he is a good captain. Fod to me seems a major contender for it for reasons I already stated he seems to be one of few who actually cares who wants to succeed and without him, we would be a fair way off 3rd.

a wudny change it mid season, i think wallace deserves far more respect than to be stripped of it mid season. However for me if i had to pick one right now. I would pick Wes...hill and miller good candidates but to old i think. i would pick wes, i think he is one of only a few players who can hold their head high after a game (even a defeat) and he fuckin trys....I await the torrents of abuse!

Defense is a problem IMO due to the players we have their, they all (pretty much) need shot of. Tav is a ball watcher and has not even a basic understanding of his positioning, Kiernan is a complete bombscare who again is a ball watcher constantly come out of position, has no spine and take no responsibility, hill is a "good" defender but is 38 year old. None of them see a clean sheet as important, none of these players love to defend, when i played in defense i would celebrate a tackle or a block i would fucking love stopping someone from scoring or getting past me, other than Hill none of our defenders have this.

may have said it before on here, but given the postion we are in at the moment where we dont have a DM, well we do but he lives on the treatment table. I honestly think it would be worth a try (not saying it would work) to play danny Wilson in there, he is not a brilliant defender but i think he has a very good range of passing and is good on the ball. Have him in there he is more physical than anyone else we have, and is a defender (granted not a fanstastic one) have him in there just splitting attacks, cutting out the passing lanes and winning balls in the air, and do nothing but sit about 15 yards in front of the centre halves. IMO he would be better here than Holiday, or toral

at the moment i am quite glad that we have not made any knee jerk reactions, i am glad the board have not hired someone with a week. If you look at it black and white. This season is a fuckin right off, miles behind them, struggling for 2nd now and its not going to get better until we can get better players in. i would pish myself if they announced FDB was to come IN THE SUMMER and a DoF was to start in the next few weeks. fuckn ideal to me. But thats just me. I would start panicking if we went into next 10 days or so and there was still nothing tangible no announcement to be made or anything like that. 2 odd weeks is not that long to wait on a good replacement rather than picking the first ex manager or player who picks up the phone. getting this appointment right is beyond crucial and it warrants diligence and patience

I think it has been a mix of MW attitude and the players thinking they are better than they are. The lack of effort really get to me its seems several of the players dont care if they win or lose, i think many of them may have been recruited on the basis of "come up here, its a good stage and you can try get to a EPL or championship team" career footballers not footballers (if you see what i mean) with your point about miller and Wallace. same in any job tbh. you work in a team of ten, half of them are fuckin useless you eventually will just get you head down and do your own but when it becomes clear nothing you do or the current management do will changes these guys attitudes

It would be perhaps worth mentioning but i would not hold it up as your main reason and motivation. Why is being a supporter a benefit to you applying for the role? is how to approach, shows commitment motivation, you have personal experience of the service you may be providing, you have empathy and common ground with the customers. It also shows that you probably want to remain with the "company" for the long term, you would like to progress gain new skills and responsibilities etc etc. Think of all the reasons why being a supporter is an advantage to you and why it would make you better at the job (a lot of other applicants will be fans as well i presume) you tell them why it is a good thing. but remember it is a job at a company in the most basic form, so focus on yourself and what you bring to the table!
