  1. Yes. That’s what they discussed on Rangers Radio in the post game show tonight. Definitely discussed as only a rumour though.
  2. Rumoured two Norwich players arriving in January.
  3. ...we can agree he’s absolute crap I think.
  4. Hmm... “in fairness, he was a cracking player when the legs done what the brain wanted them to.”
  5. Looked deliberate. At least a yellow and then he should have gone for the kick to the face on Herrera.
  6. Awful. Lumbers around, gets the ball caught up in his feet because his brain still works at lightening speed while the legs are mired in treacle.
  7. Not surprised. We are, unfortunately, just a bang average top six team. We just achieve it by spending more than any of the other four bang average teams around us. Why? Because we are Rangers I suppose and it is what we do. Blame the players all we want, but the reality is they never brought the managers in that signed them. Blame the managers all we want, but the reality is they were not the ones offering the contracts or the budgets. As a club we are reaping what we sow and the undeniable fact is, that from a football perspective, we’ve sown mediocrity for the last few years in terms of football leadership. There’s only one place the blame can be laid and it’s square on the board. Sure they’ve done lots of good in the past couple of years but we are a football club and football clubs are judged on one thing and one thing only. Results! In this regard the board have shown us to be rudderless and mediocre at best. Shame on them. Merry fucking Christmas Mr. King et al. You simply don’t deserve the loyalty shown by every Rangers fan.
  8. For anyone that missed this you can catch it on RangersRadio archives shortly after 11pm here... http://mixlr.com/rangersradio/showreel/
  9. Overall I’ve been underwhelmed with him. Then again, I’ve been underwhelmed with much of what this Rangers team has produced lately.
  10. It would be a start to get just 2 to 3 players of real quality. We have average players right now and the recent management merry go round only serves to create an environment where more player churn is required. The other mob, regardless of what we think of him, brought in a manager who took what the previous manager had failed to get playing, improved them and added key elements to make the team better. There is certainly some ability in our players, they’ve shown it in spurts. Perhaps with some better quality in key places and with the right manager some consistency might develop.
  11. I think that’s fair enough. I’d like to think there will be a shake up of board members by the time the next AGM rolls round. If they succeed in getting fresh investment, from new sources, then I suspect those folks will demand their voice on the board. Then there might be opportunity to replace some incumbents. As fans we just want to win games and trophies, but when our club relies on investment from the public domain, and those investors are not necessarily fans the priorities get skewed from our perspective. What is interesting in all of this is that while the incumbents were overwhelmingly voted back in, there were in fact 28% of shareholders who did not vote. That’s a huge number.
  12. You are 100% right in that the fans can show their displeasure and cause pause for the board and probably enough to enact some change. However, it remains an unanswered question, just who would replace them? The next round of share issues might reveal any potential candidates or just serve to strengthen the current shareholders grip.
  13. The recent resolutions put even greater control in their hands regarding who might get any new shares to be released. Rather than weaken their hold on the club it strengthens it. The one question none of this answers though is just who would they be replaced with? I’m just not sure there are queues of people lining up to replace them. Any new share issues might go some way to shedding light on whether there are indeed alternatives to the incumbents or we are to rely on their backing alone for the foreseeable future.
  14. You do know they were just overwhelmingly voted back in.
  15. More than six but less than eleven.
  16. A better question might be why he handed Wilson the armband instead of Alves?
  17. Admin delete this please, never saw the other thread...
  18. https://talksport.com/football/must-listen-ray-wilkins-reveals-he-wants-Rangers-return-passionate-talksport-interview Love his passion. Sorry if posted elsewhere. Not sure about a few of the names he discusses but the passion is oozing through
  19. Sounds like a new five year plan. Very concerning if that’s the case.
