Looking at the players we have this year, and the manner in which Warburton has always said it is a squad game, I cannot see a standard starting 11. There are players there now who IMO will definitely be rotated, started/dropped depending on training performances. Off the back of last season, if the form can be picked back up, Forrester is most definitely in and around the first team sheet as he was immense once he got up to match sharpness and gave us that something a little extra in the attacking third and was definitely not afraid to shoot. With Kranjcar saying his preferred position being the #10 in behind the strikers I can see us lining up sometimes like: Foderingham Tav Hill/Wilson/Kiernen Wallace Barton Rossiter Kranjcar Forrester Waghorn McKay with the likes of Miller, Dodoo (if/when he signs), O'Hallaran interchanging along the front 3 and of course Holt and Halliday within the midfield. -
Thats a nice story to bring a bit of light to the dark political climes we have now! But got to admit it was a bit weird seeing my name as a title on here AND weird (having lived in England all my life) for it to be based in Springburn where my grandma lived (although that side of the family were not Johnstone's)...... brings back some good memories of dipping me toes in Hogganfield Loch as a kid!

Favourite celebration by a Rangers player?

3 minutes in... Hately's header vs the sheep in 91 to win us the title on the last day. The bit with him and Mojo says it all. One of the most important goals in a blue jersey in my opinion. -
I like the idea of this for the showcase it would bring... BUT imagine if you were 2-1 down with seconds to go in the semi and Waggy passed the last defender on towards goal just for the defender to haul him back knowing the red card didn't matter because he'd still play in the final! That would be sickening for anyone!

I thought when watching the game he got a touch to it and that this save effectively won us the game..... and now after watching this many many times (I may be rose tinted in my view) but I reckon he has turned to look where the ball is and purposely used his right hand on the way down to knock it out as well. Would be appreciative of other's view just to make sure I am not being bias!

I can't see mwention of it anywhere else, but the finger tip save by big Wes from the freekick in the dying seconds was outstanding! -

My gut feeling is that they will want to use brute force and lump high balls in to the box, again using overtly physical challenges to win the headers. If the single supporter I have on my FB is anything to go by then all I see is that they think whole officials line up is in our favour and that some conspiracy is in place to always allow us to win by any means necessary. It seems the excuses are out in numbers already, I see Dhelila has even stated in the press that he hopes the game isn't won or lost on a dodgy decision.... for this reason I would prefer the game (no matter the result) to end with 22 players still on that pitch. I don't think I have seen the likes of a battle in the middle since the early days of Souness, Halliday and the thug opposite is going to be some emotive battle! -

I can see there being a lot of space on the pitch tonight, Killie being the PL team and at home will not get away with sitting in and letting us control the ball, with them hoping to nick one on the break. I predict a very open end to end type of game the polar opposite of what we saw at the weekend, which makes me think there may well be goals in this one! -
I do not see the problem here (and certainly don't see the massive hype the press have about it... all Warbuton said was he didn't know you could do it and it is ridiculous that you can, then at the conference he was asked a a hundred times about it and had to repeat himself making it look a bigger issue than it is). If it is allowable in the rules and the pitch is within the allowable tolerances then it is no different IMO to playing players in different positions, like sticking a big centre half up front for the last 10 minutes and lumping it to their head if the opposition has a small defence etc).... it was a stroke of genius when Souness did it and if the rules haven't changed then so be it!

What is it you are after? I have an email from 2012 from a chap in Supporter Services (although the likelihood of him still being there is unknown)..... which led on to me falling over at my desk and NEVER will I delete it as it was followed up by one from the true gent himself Sandy Jardine.

Yeah I can see this being their main approach... would be wise IMO to keep Ball in the DM position and if fit bring Holt in alongside Halliday as our more attack minded midfield. The front three chose themselves at the moment, especially with people being cup tied
