Pretty sure that was my first ever cup final think about 80 thousand at hampden that day, still the highest attendance I’ve been in. 
Was in the corner between the north and east stand and had the perfect view of Coops strike. Even in a crowd and atmosphere like that you still heard the ball hit the net it was struck that hard lol

Davie Coopers rocket free kick against the sheep at Hampden has to be up there.

Pre screens the corners were open earth banks. The screens will be very light compared to what would be required for access, a top tier of concrete etc plus 5000 Bears doing the bouncy. The steelwork holding the top tier and the roof of the Govan, Copland and Broomloan would require substantial reinforcement. Likely it could be done externally similar to Westfalenstadium but it’s not a cheap summer job!

I'm sure only the main stand retains any of Leitch's structural work, the other 3 were redeveloped completely.

Don't think it's as simple as that; iirc the screens are integrated into structures that are load bearing for all 3 stands.  Seem to remember something about a "goal post design".  Would be very costly.

I really liked Jack. When he was fit and on form we tended to play our best football. And to replace a fit and on form Jack would have been beyond our budget, but unfortunately that player hasn’t existed for quite some time. 

The first match he got subbed and barged the manager his card was marked.
He's maybe lucky he never got the chance to try it on a half dozen of our ex managers who would have knocked fuck out of him in private,and a couple of them might have done it on the spot.

Your Da was thinking ahead and was the way to go mate and saved lifting 21 year old girls over the turnstile 
Me personally remember getting grabbed once and lifted over just before i got the chance to pay and spent ages watching for somebody coming to chuck me back out.
