  1. That wasn’t my intention. I’m just pointing out that we have a tendency to get carried away on here too early. It feels different this time but for me it’s still wait and see.
  2. Pleased with how it’s going so far. However we had the same euphoria after Murty had us playing well for a spell last season and we know how that turned out.
  3. Not sure if you're being sarcastic and I'm having another one of my slow days, but it will have been ghost written by a journo with Barry getting a couple of quid for putting his name to it.
  4. You could jump in a taxi from Glasgow Central to LA Bowl at Springfield Quay. Do some bowling, have some food and walk down to the stadium.
  5. The argument may be that if we demand a big fee, but his wages are comparatively low in relation to other players that go for a similar amount, the buying club will argue that he isn't worth what we are asking. I.e "you don't pay him like a £10m player so we you can't really think he's worth that. Heres £5m take it or leave it."
  6. "the teddy bears have their picnic."
  7. Surely if the option to buy in the loan deal is £2m then that's what we pay if we want him, no matter how well he performs? There would be no point having it otherwise.
  8. He's handled it perfectly. Liked how he talked about protection from the refs for the match. I think.subtle things like that can influence refs.
  9. I guess you could say I'm a Woolyback as I lived in Warrington for a number of years (Rugby League team is nicknamed "The Wire") after moving there from NI as a kid. It's what Scousers call people from Cheshire and Lancashire.
  10. I used Opera for the first time for the Maribor game. Zenmate (which I pay a monthly fee for) was buffering all the time (again) so I gave Opera a go at half time after seeing it recommend on here. It was pretty much flawless and free.
  11. The Rhebel is a disgrace but this is verging on paranoia.
  12. This story just topped off my night. Thanks for sharing.
  13. It's hardly abuse pal. A bit of ribbing for someone who was being a bit upright and overreacting. P.S you need to empty your sack too yasssssssssssssssssssss!
  14. This. I doubt anyone would splash the cash without getting an ownership stake in the club, and we would know if that was the case.
  15. Broken metatarsal from kicking over a sandcastle. 6 months out.
  16. As above. For other games I use the Zen Mate extension for Google Chrome.
  17. Looking forward to this week's presser. He's been excellent at dealing with the press so far. It will be interesting to see how he deals with the shit stirring now that's got going. Early days but I think he's a really strong character and this isn't likely to phase him. In fact, the way he's talked about enjoying pressure all his career I think he's probably enjoying it.
  18. Would have been great to bring Rossiter of the bench. Shane he can't stay fit.
  19. Agreed. Having Coulibaly in that midfield helping him break up play means Jack can also play forward looking for passes.
  20. I've not been that close this so please pardon my ignorance. How long is the new SD deal for? Do they have a right to match the terms every time the deal comes up for renewal?
  21. I thought along similar lines when Murty had that decent spell in charge at the beginning of the year. I was sceptical that he would be able to get us back on track after a defeat or a bad run. I think your right re: McGregor.
  22. This is why we need to build relationships with other clubs. Obviously there will be some we can't or don't want to build relationships with, but we can't expect to challenge anything on our own. That's going to mean bridge building with certain clubs who kicked us when we were down.
  23. He can now focus his efforts on auditioning for Love Island 2019.
