I was just going to say that! Great player though

He did this turn in a circle thing when he had the ball. Used to piss me off. Good player but definitely over rated by a lot.

Let's hope this ibrox "source" is shite
Negri's lovechild replied to OzGers's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
agree. Its the 4 years of champions league money that's made the big difference here. Even if you take a low figure of £5 million a year, that's a £20 million gap before we even start. They have had a consistently high profile in that time as well,so will be able to attract players we at present can't. The vote by the SPL clubs five years ago did more damage to us than it appears at face value -
Nah,not for me. Can't even look across at them never mind take pics (unless its to flick the v's)

Barry the player - very good player Barry the man - not good at all. Out for himself. He was the captain of the best club in the world and should have shut his mouth in public at the time. Behind closed doors then voice his opinion, but in public he should have backed the manager or said nothing.

Rangers & Kiernan reject two match ban
Negri's lovechild replied to RFCRobertson's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
The point im making is that its obscured from the camera point of view. You don't see the actual contact being made. The referee didnt see it either as it would have been in his match report and would have frankly sent him off. Tje dembele point, fair enough Did you watch the st johnstone game? They were hard and stuck the boot in a few times. That left midfielder of theirs should have been off -
Scotland's Media - Decision Time

It's good for us as a support to have a source we (in general) trust and have the interests of the support at heart. I don't always agree with the articles (like yesterdays) but there's always something there that rings true with me and gives a bit of hope that there is an organisation fighting for us, like @rangersmediawatch do. I would suggest that the papers turn their attention to the bigger stories like the nhs etc and stop printing lies about a football club and its supporters in order to sell a few papers. There arent any Bernsteins about anymore looking to break a meaningful story, just a bunch of ambulance chasing hacks -

Haha i got nicknamed the Cat by Jason Young once at training (anyone remember him!) Went in goals for a game of 5's. Was good fun -
If they had a team that matched their support, they'd all be shagging weans and covering it up.....

Rangers & Kiernan reject two match ban
Negri's lovechild replied to RFCRobertson's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Thats the bit that doesnt sit right with me. If it was a clear and obvious punch then it would be a 5/6 match ban. The "offer" of a two match ban seems a bit iffy. As somebody else said, what about Dembele's elbow? What about a lot of the tackles flying in from those st.johnstone players? Hammer throwing bastards they were. -

Thats all i want to see in a paper. Dont give a fuck about gossip or sensational headlines. Just honest reporting and some facts. Papers are that self involved now they think they can print whatever lies they like in order to sell papers. Good on the VB for fighting back and for getting those articles out there -
has a Rangers manager ever survived
Negri's lovechild replied to RFC55's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
To me it looked like the pressure of getting us back up as quickly as possible made ally think short term. No youth strategy,no scouting network at all, experienced pros on (apparently) ridiculous wages, some awful awful football. I did hope it would get better, and im a big fan of ally, and he did have a lot to deal with with the politics of the club at the time, but would we even be in the spl if he was still in charge? -

King is a business man and to me it looks like that is the way he is running the club. I hate to say it,but look at what fergus mccann did with them. You cant spend more than the club is making. We were spoiled for years and years with murray spending his own money and money we or he didnt really have, and it was brilliant. But reality has to set in for us now. The worst thing king did was spout off about the 50m investment, and thats whats stuck in the our heads. With regards to playing style, yep every manager has a belief and a system. Im not always a fan of the way mw plays but i can see what he is trying to do. We didnt have a youth or scouting system to speak of,so that is now being built and we might not see the rewards of that for a while yet -

Negri's lovechild replied to RFC55's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Really frustrating me that people arent grasping that theres a long term building job the manager is doing. Its not just about this season. Its about making sure the club survives and is still here in 100 years. Celtic have had 4 seasons of champions league revenue we havent had,and some on here are expecting us to beat them in our first season back! -

Mccoist had 3 years to build a squad up and fucked it. Legend as a player but didnt look long term as a manager -
Warbs “ We Got To Learn From It"
Negri's lovechild replied to Rangers Lady's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Its the people who cant see that they have more money to spend, have built a squad up over the last few years and have had a massive head start on us that are calling for the managers head. I hate that club, but the difference those two in particular make is massive, and its that quality we are missing. Mw has been here what a year and a half and has a long term plan. We cant afford short term thinking anymore if we want our club to survive. -
Don't you mean his father?

Merry christmas to everyone! Hope you all have a good one! -
Agree with you there. If the manager believes he is a talent, and will be worth a lot of money to the club in the long term,he will take as long as is necessary to get him on his feet. From the glimpses we have seen he has looked good, and rightly so we should be patient
