  1. Love him or hate him McGregor is worth a lot of points per season.
  2. Equality is fine let them play, no ones arguing against that. Problem seems to be women's football is being forced into the spotlight with a heavy hand. Most people think it's shite (it is), but outlets like the bbc punt distorted viewing stats to make it look like it can compete with mens football (it can't). Status quo of it being lower than youth level will resume shortly, especially club level women's football.
  3. Agree, think he will be a Papac like mainstay for years to come. Also think Grezda will take a season to come good, if he's given the chance.
  4. Him and Worral seem to get rattled against shite teams. Think we will see Katic back in beside Goldson when Barisic is fully fit.
  5. Reckon the away form will be sorted and we will blow all those teams away by two goal margins bar Spartak, they are our toughest test at Ibrox so far imo.
  6. We've always had top class keepers before the banter years, glad to see the tradition restored.
  7. Group stage should be achievable with some decent signings .Teams like Maribor will struggle at Ibrox on a European night.
  8. Criticism of him is a bit unfair sometimes, think about the stick past players used to get in that role like Edu and Thomson, they used to get roasted after old firm and euro defeats for pretty much the same reasons. It's a thankless task playing in that CDM role especially with a balls to the wall formation like ours.
  9. Should never have seen RB position again after the Hearts game.
  10. Buck stops with the manager, especially with an out of form Tavernier being picked ahead of Hodson.
  11. Those 6 draws are the real problem and I would wager the number of chances created in those games would be on average 5 decent chances. Basically the lack of a clinical goalscorer has cost us big time.
  12. The problem is we pen back the low table teams so hard that there's literally 5 or 6 of them in the box vs at best 2 of our players, clean cut chances are hard to come by.
  13. He does start to lag and disappear a bit in the latter stages of matches I've seen him in. But he was still influencing the game, strange one.
  14. Probably get crucified for saying this, but Halliday and the lego eater could have have been a shout to shut down the technicians in the English midfield.
  15. Realistically Derek McInnes, think he would be odds on for it if Warburton was sacked.
  16. When the sky or B.T cameras turn up these shitey no mark teams play as if their lives depend on it. Combine that with our journeymen English league squad players not being able to cope with the pressure and expectations of being Rangers players and a formation that has massive potential to be countered you get results like this.
  17. We have only lost twice, both times to two of the strongest outfits in the league. Haven't been beaten at Ibrox for a long time. However, the lack of flexibility in system is hurting us. The level of stubbornness is astounding, why cant we just change to a 4-4-2 when the 4-3-3 isn't working, Garner and Waghorn could be the most lethal strike partnership in Scottish league history, but we will never know as the formation will never change.
  18. Why? Scottish casualties in World War 1 were higher per populace than the rest of the home nation's. It's not like the questionable wars in the middle east, the British Empire had to intervene when Germany invaded Belgium, these men died fighting to protect the British Isles and decent folk on the continent. Nobody should be delighted by a tribute in memory of them being blocked by a corrupt footballing organisation.
  19. Could see Hill giving him directions and probably communicating with him better than Wilson does. He would go straight back to being a bombscare playing alongside anyone else I reckon.
  20. I've had enough of the 4-3-3, it's not even an attacking 4-3-3 it's some false no 9 pish where the striker comes deep to receive the ball and gets involved in the build up. Just play Garner and Waghorn up front at the same time and see what happens, they would probably score for fun.
  21. I would take Halliday over Edu all day. Wallace/Papac and Wylde/McKay are about evens, everything else is an upgrade from what we have now.
  22. It seems Gilks is a better keeper for defending set plays and organisation, and Fod is better at reflex saves, having the ball at his feet and getting out quickly. Gilks is probably a better pick in a game where we will be under the cosh at times, Fod is better for teams that don't see the ball and counter us. Both are good goalkeepers.
  23. This guy was never going to fit well with a club that expects it's players to carry themselves with dignity and respect. He should be fired for embarrassing the club with all this bullshit, no matter how much we dislike them one of our players should not be calling out their captain or manager and a certain level of respect should be upheld between players on both sides it's just the way it is. It appears he has disrespected our manager, and now this betting nonsense, we punted a club legend like Barry Ferguson for not living up to the Rangers standard why should this clown get away with his one man circus.
  24. To be fair to Khan it wasn't a dangerous tackle, Mols staggered awkwardly and done his knee. People forget he was 29/30 years old and players didn't seem to last long past 30 at that point. Saying that though he was in excellent form and gave us a real edge and more than a chance against the likes of Bayern. I remember the buzz around this game and it was that Mols could deliver for us in the big matches, and he very nearly did.
