  1. Brendan Rogers would of won the league with this Rangers squad this year (We need a manager that can get the best out of our players)
  2. celtic were there for the taking this year and a better manager from day one would of seriously challenged for the league.
  3. I honestly have no clue what your response means or refers to......... but you do still seems extremely angry
  4. The sub should of been made possibly before the first goal as a blind man could see we were not up for it but certainly changes should of been made after the goal. A better manager would of seen we were struggling and made the changes required to compete. I personally don’t care about any of the players feelings they are here to do a job and I hope that they are all feeling rotten today and hope that for the next while they are constantly on hard running at training and have early starts as we need to change these premadonnas attitudes.
  5. The sad thing is that Brenda would win the league with the current Rangers team. We need someone who will get the best out of average players and someone who will make our stars players feel like Ronaldo and Messi. A new man manager needs to be top of our shopping list
  6. It’s a joke to think that our team actually roared when they seen the draw after the quarter final. 0% fight today agree major changes are required.
  7. Disagree thought Murty should of made a change after the first goal as midfield and Morelos has been non existent. 5 in midfield should all hang their heads in shame. Docherty = Rotten 45 Dorrans = nothing going forward halladay = spent more time on his arse Candieass = passing forward was terrible little composure murphy = nothing going forward absolutely nonexistent morelos = literally done nothing
  8. We start the match the same way we started the last one with on the front foot and getting a goal in the first 5-10 mins. If we do score then we must go for the kill and get a second none of this defending our lead pish.
  9. I believe that if we can get our injured players back playing we will go on another good run and easily secure 2nd. The cup game will now likely hold a lot of power wither Murty is up to the challenge or not. I think if he quickly learns from his tactical errors and wins the semi final this will change a good few of the bears minds. Murty will ultimately be judge on how he finishes the season. If we take full points against all the smaller teams and keep our decent record against the top 4 then there should be no reason to change the manager. I was never Murtys biggest fan but I do see enough improvement to feel that we just cant sack every manager than does not win us the league within 6 months. Does the manager have a lot to learn yes he does, was he naïve in his tactics when the player was sent off I now have to agree. A lot can change between now and the end of the season I believe he has done enough to see the rest of the season out and if we secure 2nd and close the gap to celtic say 6/7 points plus win the cup then for me that will be enough. If the wheels now start to fall off and we get pumped in the semi and cant secure 2nd then I would agree we need to look at better. If we did change him then its needs to be someone that has a decent pedigree all these shouts about the st Johnston manger etc can fuck right off. Steve Clark has certainly caught everyones eye and if that was the choice on offer it may be hard to turn him down. Time will tell.
  10. Totally agree when we were 2-1 up we had to score the next goal. Not sure if it’s was fitness, bottle or talent that let us down but I don’t think it’s time to start the rebuilding. We have a good foundation and are closer now than we have ever been. If we keep the same team and add well in the summer I would be confident for next season.
  11. What a fucking terrible thread, short sightedness at it best. We have been crying out for a striker that can score 20 a season for the past 5 years and you want to start a thread about him missing the open goal. What’s the solution then inspector gadget? So you would of been happy with a 3-3 draw that would of been enough for you? Young lad that missed an easy goal yes I agree but if you think the lad is shite and needs to be sold them thank fuck your not the manager. Team performance and as someone else pointed our to me earlier the tactics were not good enough to win today’s match. As for the standard slaughter the players thread think this one is a very narrow minded ?
  12. I have to actually agree with what you have said. When you look at the tactical side of things did Murty do enough I would agree no. I seriously think we have seriously improved in the last 3/5 months. I think we are heading in right direction. I am scared that we change again and end up where we were 6 month ago. My believe that I have seen enough since Murty appointment to feel it’s our best chance of moving forward. We could if won todays game and if we did everyone would be on the Murty band wagon ? I do agree with your view thou and can see what your meaning.
  13. Defending was as poor as I have seen. alves was shite from someone with a pedigree as good as his he should stroll these matches needs to go in the summer. sell Danny Wilson who was playing his best ever standard as a Rangers player. Only to have Cardoso who is utter shite come on and cost us the game. am sorry but two proper center half’s are needed pronto or we will never compete. as said on the other tread there was no leaders on the park today celtic where they’re for the taken. p.s Windass thought it was enough to score in the first fives mins and then play his and seek for the other 90 mins
  14. Knee jerk reactions aground. Yes it it was our best chance to beat them and our performance was not as good as it’s been. Did we bottle it??? Yeah I would say so. Progreas has been made in the past 5/6 years celtic would of won that by 4/5 goals. couple of leaders away from a decent team and a team that will challenge. to get rid of Murty now or for him not to have the chance next season would be utter madness
  15. Certainly not been his biggest fan but he have certainly shown evidence that's he's getting better and could be one for the future. He's worth another contract for the next couple of years to see how he continues to mature as a center half. For Rangers moving forward I firmly believe that we need two new strapping center half's that take full command and put their bodies on the line with every tackle / header. The central defense might actually be our weakest part of the team at the moment and not overall convinced with Martin or Alves. Biggest part of the season is now the next 4/5 weeks this will show our team character and its a chance for the players to prove their worth for next season.
  16. Played very well today. Mature performance from a young man looks to be a promising signing ?
  17. Two things are for certain 1) the lad knows where the goals are 2) the lad loves a knee slide celebration
  18. Certainly performed well and is starting to look more comfortable playing each week.
  19. Talks very well and I must admit I am starting to think if he does well that he could be in line for a crack at it again next season. Its is and always will be a results driven business and if he does well he will be here longer but its important to remember he is only two or three games away from the sack. Rangers fans will accept nothing less than challenging for the league no matter who is in charge. For now I am fairly impressed and he has challenged in the big matches since he has been here. Good win at the weekend and if that continues I will be happy to see him stay. Keep up the good work Murty
  20. The last two managers would of dropped points today. Not the best game second half but we done what we needed to and that’s all that matters. well done Cummings on scoring the winner ⚽️
  21. Can not fault Murty for his results against top league teams. He has shown in the games against celtic, Hearts, Aberdeen and Hibs that he is capable of reaching the heights that Rangers demand. If he keeps this form and washes away the rest of the dross in the league then I feel we will certainly close the gap this year. If he was to close the gap to within say 5 points (hopefully challenge) and win a cup for me that would be enough to give him a 2 year contract. Never been his biggest fan but you can not argue with his results against the top teams stop dropping silly points and he could be the man next season.
  22. Take Warburton out of the picture and say that both clubs made the agreement?
