Sorry my bad....I assumed you were alluding to Dundee....but you did say that the press were allowed in to see part of the sessions, if this is behind closed doors then surely that would be a privilege?

Mate he's seen first hand his training sessions and spoken to the players that trained under him ( no names given btw) It's normal to travel up to Inverness and Dundee through the week just to watch a training session don't you know 😏

You can’t form an opinion on how good a coach McCann is, because you’re materially nothing substantive to base it on. You have evidence to suggest some of the players who played under him didn’t rate him.

That's not really the point though, you were saying that you were actively watching McCann work whilst at Dundee as you were allowed in as part of your job.....all you are doing is actively stating that some teams train outdoors for anyone to watch....your argument to @Brackley Bluenosewas that you had some sort of press privilege to watch Dundee train 

I wouldn’t comment on non SPL clubs but I find it very hard to believe in this day and age, your man on the street and anybody from opposing clubs could rock up and watch a team train James. I just don’t believe it. I also work in the game and it’s an absolute no no. 

Not denying you may have had access to a warm up, here or there. 
The fact you’re trying to justify that journalists are allowed in to watch parts of the session where you’d even be able to see McCann coach properly is what completely undermines you. Not seeing how idiotic it is that journalists would be allowed to watch full sessions is laughable.

This forum has seen multiple posts getting stressed about who’s taking training. Then the club say who’s taking training and people are now inferring that this means our recruitment process isn’t working. Someone needs to take training. We can’t have a group of players just sitting around the week of a cup game. Even if he is appointed today (and the information coming from those in the know is that nothing will be until tomorrow) then he still wouldn’t be taking training today or tomorrow. We have been proactive in the search by all accounts and it will take a bit of time to draw up contracts and prepare things.

There's absolutely nothing to worry about in that statement. Some of the players have returned to training today so, quite rightly, the club have felt it's important to clarify who's going to be taking training.

I find it incredible that a cricket club is in turmoil (universal condemnation,  resignations, sponsors walking away etc) over inappropriate language used years ago while a Scottish football club has piled up child abuse convictions and victims like sandbags in a flood, yet the media continue to suppress it and sponsors apparently have no shame associating with that club.
What the fuck is wrong with this country where “too many of you lot” (white cricketer talking about number of Asian cricketers) is considered a more heinous crime than raping a child?
