I think our best hope for Matondo is that he still has credit in the bank from his time in Belgium - where he did well - and we can convince a team to take him on. Think in reality we will be stuck with him for the first half of next season and then he will get loaned out in January once it becomes clear he isn’t getting any games for us.

One decent season does not make him Rangers striker quality. People asking what about 2nd or 3rd choice. He's 32 soon, not getting any faster and you want to have him essentially playing a bit part and therefore not as match sharp? No thanks. He's found form at a small mid table team and fair play to him. That's where he's obviously comfortable. 

Even as one of his biggest fans Morelos is done here and this last season has been fucking shocking from him and the club.
but a guy that’s scored goals v dortmund, Porto, feyenoord, malmo, Antwerp, cska, Vienna etc being replaced by a guy who couldn’t fire motherwell past Sligo rovers who’s having his best season since 2013/14 and is 32 years of age, geez fucking peace man

I think that's the frustration with Kent. He clearly has ability and has proven it in europe and in old firm games in the past.
He just isn't consistent enough and doesn't produce the end product we need from our starters. 
I've no idea if it's an attitude / mentality issue or if he just doesn't have the engine required to perform consistently over a 50 game season.
Last season and a bit he's been poor when compared to beforehand.

Really is. Mental how little attention is paid to his age and how much players improve from the age of 20.
He will be a better player next year. And even better the year after. He’s probably 2-3 years away from being at his peak and is already our poty. 
 
If he was 24 and not influencing games I’d be concerned. But 5million to breakdown the dross. And probably be much more influential in OF games next year is good business for me
