Clicked on this genuinely hoping that the fella from Bargain Hunt was a Bear. Disappointing

'Joke of a supporter imo' was the quote from RowX here before he edited it for some reason
Hopefully one day I can be a real supporter like you mate
Pretty brutal take on a Rangers player who played well tonight imo. But each to their own. I edited it because you’re entitled to your opinion

I’m taking full credit for todays performance as unusually today was my first visit to Ibrox this season due to other personal commitments but… (and I said no complaints in another thread) what the hell has happened to the catering???
when we are trying to pull in maximum revenue, how can the kiosks in the main stand have run out of all hotdogs and burgers and only have two pies left 5 minutes in to half time? Saved me a few quid feeding the wean but standards here have really fallen and I had thought this season they were supposed to have improved!? Also, serving boiling hot Bovril in cups without holders that feel like you’re holding onto a small slice of the burning Sun whilst heading back to your seat is also pretty grim.
Only complaint over. At least the team on the park were inspired today!

I’ll wait to hear what the profit is before I judge him.

Biggest blag of all time but fair play to him.

Dear Rangers Board
Less time making patronising videos, more time looking after your ‘customers’ interests.
Shocking stories on here and if it’s true Frankfurt looked after their own whilst ours ate Prawn sandwiches with all the hangers on then it’s even worse.

This the charter that that woman put on? If so, she has put out a message on Twitter about it being out of her hands.. Feel sorry for her. She was doing a very good thing and has been let down.
No, different one. Hers was delayed and rerouted to Malaga but arrived last night. Fair play to her.

Nope I agree we've been poor at selling players at the right time.
Don't be a smart arse you're not good at it.
And you think no one made any bids because big bad Stevie said they weren’t for sale. Give us peace 😂😂

We have that
So you’ve now agreed it isn’t Gerrards (or any other recent managers) fault then under the current set up. Good lad.

Gerrard wanted these players kept at all costs and we didn't accept bids because they were integral to him, since then no bids and the players look like they are planning on leaving. There's only soo much the club can do but if they don't sign new contracts then the club can't force them and if we sell cheap then the fans still won't be happy.
Any manager will always want to keep his best players. The club has to either make sure the contracts are done or sell at the right time regardless. We are very very poor at this and have been for a long time unfortunately.

So if players don't want to sign new contracts and teams don't come in for them what's he supposed to do?
I think his recruitment has been questionable but the contract situations I blame Gerrard for. He constantly said players weren't for sale or bring sacks full of cash and that's why we find ourselves in the position we are in.
Managers job is to safeguard his squad to compete, tech director is for dealing with agents and safeguarding the clubs position. Have a listen to Gerrards interview with Neville on YouTube. There was definitely more than a hint of him and the current board not being on the same page in terms of building the squad to go again.

Roofe showing what he can do when given the chance to get match fit.

He needs to stay. Hopefully he’ll see sense and realise it doesn’t get much better than what he has here. No way we replace him easily either.

Barker in the squad. GvB loves a winger

He didn’t bring in Gerrard

Will be keen to see if Tav, Patterson & Morelos is on his radar. Can’t argue with the other 3 that’s been mentioned. Simone raised a good point also will players get ant to leave now that SG is gone?
no one is bigger than the club
Cant see him coming in for Morelos, looks like that relationship was a bit hot and cold.

And what is more important? Letting Goldson go it winning the LG ?
Are you saying that letting Goldson stay and run down his contract equates to winning the league? Oh and by the way, winning the league this year doesn’t wipe out our debt. I’m guessing you meant it would cover this years loss.

Two separate points entirely

Letting assets walk out of the door for free is not performing well in your role. Does anyone expect Goldson to sign a contract at this stage?

Im struggling to see what the problem is here with anything he has said. As someone else said, I’ll judge him on his performances. It wasn’t so long ago that we had players and some in his same position who shat out of playing depending on who the opposition was or others who made themselves unavailable, or too overweight to play. This guy has been almost always available, and for most of the earlier to middle part of this season was a rock when paired up with Balogun. Form comes and goes but hard to be that consistently available without a good attitude.
