I'll eat my own shite if that happens.
Would be worth it for a start like that mind...

I’d hope he’d be relishing it tbh - Aberdeen away first day of season is a belter

I don't see Aberdeen as a tough start. They might have finished ahead of us but didnt lay a glove in the head to heads.

Here's hoping.
He strikes me as the type of person who tries being a brown nose and collecting all the cones and balls after training.

We haven't had a good taxi driver since Senderos left, perfect role for him.

Walter-of-Smith reacted to Grundy in Kenny Miller Sky Sports
As plenty of others have said Miller has made a handsome living from us over the years and his contract is up. Even if he has some sense of injustice about the fine imposed he must know this is only kicking up more adverse publicity for us which is not the actions of someone who really cares about us. So, fuck you Kenny, and your neighbour.

After the first 2 games they're going to be rock bottom with about -10 goal difference

Walter-of-Smith reacted to Ozblue in Jason Cummings; Why did we take him on Loan?
I had a look at the Jason Cummings thread by, islandblue and very predictably the opinions of our members varied from; "Keep him, he's a great buy" to, "He's fucking shite and a waste of money" ; then we had posters who weren't sure either way, (me included) so I decided to have a closer look at his time with us since he arrived at the end of January, which after doing so made me wonder why the fuck did we bother bringing the lad to Ibrox in the first place.
The answer to that was obvious; We wanted to have a look at him with the option of signing him on a permanent deal in this current transfer window. Now it's my opinion that to have a proper look at a potential signing, he has to get the opportunity to show what he can do, or as we say in Australia, he has to get a "Fair suck of the Sav". Well, after delving into the stats, I don't think the lad got that opportunity, so what do you think troops?
Premier League: Played 15 games- scored 2 goals.
Aberdeen - Substitute for Morelos 70th minute..............Ross County - Substitute for Morelos 79th minute (scored 82nd minute) ...........Hibs - Substitute for Holt 71st minute
Partick Thistle - Subbed 81st minute by Morelos...........Hamilton Accies - Substitute for Morelos 79th minute...............Hearts - Substitute for Morelos 75th minute
St. Johnstone - Substitute for Candeias 62nd minute..........SCUM - Substitute for Goss 74th minute..........Kilmarnock - Played the full game
Motherwell - Substitute for Windass 82nd minute.............Dundee - Unused substitute ........................Hearts - Subbed 86th minute by Morelos (scored 47th minute)
SCUM - Played the full game....................................Kilmarnock - Subbed 45th minute by McCrorie......... Aberdeen- Substitute for Holt 61st minute
Hibs - Subbed 62nd minute by Windass.
Total contribution in the Premier League: Played 2 full games............Unused Substitute in 1 game................ Substituted in 4 games=274 minutes played
Appeared as Substitute in 9 games for a total of 157 minutes played
Scottish FA Cup: Played 3 games - scored 4 goals; Fraserburgh- Subbed 71st minute by Dodoo.........Ayr Utd. - Subbed 76th minute by Herrera (scored 66th minute)
Falkirk - Played full game (scored 16th, 21st, 75th minute)
In conclusion, no matter how good or how bad you think he is, or if Gerrard fancies him as an asset or not, Murty never did him any favours to show his worth

Should change our shirt sponsor to this
Might as well hand out these to our MOTM instead of champagne

Walter-of-Smith got a reaction from The No.9 in Welcome Goldson
Past 2 signings are 6ft 4 and 6ft 3. There's been too many dwarfs in our team so nice to see some imposing figures for a change. Set pieces and corner kicks should be interesting, welcome to Rangers

Walter-of-Smith reacted to Basrah Bear in Welcome Goldson
I had a look as well and seems most rate him and sad to see him go.
A lot of them commented on how skint we are so must be listening to the bheasts PR machine.
What is the MTL they keep mentioning, is this some nickname for the SPL.?

Walter-of-Smith reacted to LiverpoolBlue in Welcome Goldson
Brighton fans really seem to rate him, and sorry to see him go.
"Good luck to him......any Rangers fan looking on here will realise what a loss he is for us and a great player he will be for them. This lad has huge potential. Good luck to him....He wants to play more and he will be regularly playing in front of 40k adoring fans. One thing he has in his locker more than our brilliant pairing of Dunk and Duffy is potential goal threat from set pieces. He may score a decent amount north of the border. Good luck fella and thanks."
As the man said - LET'S GO

Walter-of-Smith got a reaction from Bears r us in Jason Cummings
He's the kind of player we need against the cockroach teams in the bottom half when the weather and pitches are brutal. Cup games too.
Play him in the correct position and with the right players and he'd win us games.
Got to be worth it at his age and price tag.

Walter-of-Smith got a reaction from LiverpoolBlue in Welcome Goldson
Thought this was interesting.
“Steven Gerrard had a massive influence on my decision to sign."
“...We carried on speaking and he has been brilliant with me, he said I could speak to him whenever I wanted to or whatever I was thinking.
“...Now he is my manager and I want to be able to learn off him as a coach and as a manager. I don’t really think there is going to be time for me to be star struck and be in awe of him."
These guys are gonna run through brick walls for our manager. Love it

living where I do, a lot of my mates are Brighton season ticket holders. Most of them rate him, and tell me they are sorry to see him go.

Walter-of-Smith reacted to Prso's headband in what do we still need?
CB cover
A full back/cover
CM
2 strikers (Solanke)
Winger (Wilson)
I don’t think we’ll be far off something like this line up.
McGregor
Goldson Alves Katic
Tav Arfield Rossiter McCrorie Wilson/Murphy
Morelos Solanke
Bench- Foderingham, John, Cardoso, Ejaria, Jack, Candeias, cover striker.
All fit and well of course.
So aye we probably need a CB cover, a wingback/wingback cover, striker cover and a starting CM looking at that line up.

Walter-of-Smith reacted to K.A.I in Jason Cummings
I like/liked him. Don't think he done badly at all playing for us.
Others seem to hate him or think he's shite which is fine but I don't agree.
I don't think he's the top drawer, class striker we need to fire us to titles but for 600k as a squad option in attack it's a no-brainer to me too.
Get him signed.
