ibroxwonder 0
I can't believe Dailly made the bench in both You could argue Charlie Adam and Daniel Cousin as well to be fair.

martin93 136
I fear though that Kevin won't be straight back in the team when he's fully fit,Walter if he's here which i'm sure he will be will not drop ferguson, can't see it one bit.

outlaw69uk 123
The main reason for me is Thomson, our midfield has been pretty much owned by everyone we have played since. Cousin, Boyd, Novo, Miller, Lafferty, doesnt matter. Our midfield has lost it, and, isnt even being creative anymore. Trying to pass the ball into the net, and, no dig
GeneralCartmanLee 313
Cousin was the difference that day. As the hull fans have found out it's a shame the days he make a difference are all too rare......
cammyfraserrfc 5
4 goals Exactly, while Thomson may be missed, whats clear from that is the 4 goal swing in favour of the filth, we havent scored a goal in 300 minutes against that lot since the 4-2 game. I hope walter isnt there when KT returns as i fear he will ruin him by putting him out of possistion or even worse leaving him out of the team, as he will see pedro and barry as centre

Barry Ferguson is certainly a better player when playing next to Thomson as proven last season and i cannot wait for them to become reaquainted. I don't tend to look into that as some sort of definitive reason. In the 4-2 game players like Mendes, Davis, Miller and even Broadfoot performed well while they didn't in the Cup Final. Perhaps not, but the introduction of Ferguson, McCulloch and Boyd into yesterday's game certainly didn't make others perform badly. Having said that, Mendes had a great partnership going with Thomson while he and Ferguson can't seem to play together.

Let's just wait until the summer and see who we're left with. If we don't win the league then there could be huge changes. What i will say though is a midfield containing Thomson and Barry were HUGELY successful last season.
FlippinEck 3,717
If Hesselink never got sent off, we would probably have been made to pay for Cousins stupidity in getting sent off in that game

Are you just going to forget the fact that our best football this year was played with Thomson and Mendes in the middle? And are you forgetting that we're unbeaten under the stewardship of the Thommo/Pedro partnership in the middle?
