GrandSuckMaster 1,775
Might be a re-post, but Namouchi has now signed for Sivasspor, who finished second in the Turkish top flight last year. He must have done a fairly good job for Lorient to get signed by such a decent team. Anyone reckon we let him go too early?
Frankie 505
Nah, he was far too inconsistent - even if he was moved around too often.
ricksen_da_best 2,034
Not early enough imo.
GeneralCartmanLee 313
Did eck not name him in his all time rangers team…….
excoriate 0
Did eck not name him in his all time rangers team……. I'd rather have McCulloch on the left!
outlaw69uk 123
I think he was a vastly under-rated player, probably not helped by the Rangers out of position syndrome, always looked good at internationals where he more or less played AM. Was less of a right winger than Davis is! We have certainly had (and have) worse players
cnicholl2910 1
Mccleish wasnt scared to start him in the big games.......i didnt rate him that much...mind you he aint as bad as mcculloch....
gordov 17
He never played for Lorient....hence why he's signed for a crap Turkish team.....oh how we are cursing selling him eh!
BlueIsTheColour 35
He never played for Lorient....hence why he's signed for a crap Turkish team.....oh how we are cursing selling him eh! Crap Turkish team who beat both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce last season to finish second in their league and win a place in the Champions League qualifiers? Aye, must be shite right enough. Dietspam 733
He never played for Lorient....hence why he's signed for a crap Turkish team.....oh how we are cursing selling him eh! Played over 40 games scoring 3 times for them. Crap team? Sivasspor finished second in a decent Turkish league.
J-Maestro 11,829
He's cracking in FM now too, although I never really rated him.
MaD CoW 3
Remember every big European game under McLeish, Namouchi played it was as if he was McLeish's Adam.

Was less of a right winger than Davis is! We have certainly had (and have) worse players True! People seem to forget that he was trusted and performed well in europe and against Celtic doing the dirty work rather than his natural attacking midfield role. Muff 245
Was he not out injured for a lot of his time at Lorient? As for Sivasspor being pish, that's a load of rubbish! They have some very good players; Mehmet Yildiz, Hayrettin Yerlikaya, Musa Adyin, Herve Tum....I certainly wouldn't like to draw them in the Champions League, should they get past the 3rd Qualifying round! BlueSuedeSambas 54,488
Thats a good move for him as Sivasspor are a really interesting club who appear to be going places. Thier stadium is an absolute caldorun and they have a coach in Bulent Uygun, who IMO is potentially the next Mourinho.

His shooting was a tad erratic though haha for us at least
mccoist355 4
No - I couldnt stand the sight of him in a Rangers jersey. Creatively inept, no shot, no thanks.
simplythebest 11,453
Showed signs of being a good player for us but was never consistent enough. McLeish always seemed determined to play him no matter what his form.
cooper1989 0
Never, ever forgave him after missing that sitter against Inter. Cracking cross in by none other than Bob (FTP) Malcolm. Do you believe thiat? We drew Inter with Namouchi and Malcolm on the pitch? And.. Bob was one of our better players that night.

He missed a sitter, how many Rangers players have done that over the years? You can't dislike him because he missed a chance to score. If that was the case, you would despise most of the Rangers team.
SuperRangers 2
God no man, I think Big eck was in love with him by the way he started every game even if he had been dire for the previous 5.

Not a bad player and captain of his country at a very young age as well.
