If Desmond didn't put his hand in his pocket when Martin O'Neil was there he's hardly gonna start now. Keane will cost Celtic roughly £1.5m in wages over the next 5 months which they got from the McDonald deal. Ryan_1 1,136 Posted February 1, 2010 Share Posted February 1, 2010 Robbie Keane is still a good player, yes not what he once was, but in the SPL he will flourish. celtc have done a good job with there signings in this window, IMO, but as most teams that make that amount of change will need time to gel. Now we are already 10 points clear (maybe 7 after tomorrow), we have a settled squad and are in a good vein of form. The time celtc get their team to gel, we may already have the league wrapped up by then or near enough. Now if celtc can get some of these new loanees on permanent deals then we will have to strengthen, that's for sure. celtc have improved, but I think it's too late.
