Boab 73
DANNY Wilson will get his first taste of Old Firm action this afternoon when he starts alongside Davie Weir at the heart of Rangers' defence. The 18-year-old replaces Madjid Bougherra who flew out to join the Algeria squad at the African Cup of Nations on Thursday. With Kenny Miller also forced out of action through suspension Walter Smith makes a second enforced change with Steven Whittaker taking Miller's spot in the starting eleven. That switch will see Kyle Lafferty move up front to partner SPL record goalscorer Kris Boyd with Whittaker slotting in on the right hand side of midfield. Both Nacho Novo and Sasa Papac have overcome the sickness bug that affected them during Wednesday's emphatic win over Dundee Utd and retain their places in the starting line up. It is another attacking formation from Walter Smith as his side seek a seventh straight SPL win and a victory that would open their advantage at the top of the SPL to 10 points. Rangers: McGregor; Broadfoot, Weir, Wilson, Papac; Whittaker, Davis, McCulloch, Novo; Boyd, Lafferty. Subs: Alexander, Smith, Edu, Fleck, Little, Ness, Wylde. http://www.rangers.premiumtv.co.uk/article...2254024_1921565

Look at our bench though we really are down to the bare bones, but one thing about having so many youngsters on the bench they will be eager to impress if they get the chance to come on
Kingbo 0
Good to see 2 starting, and 5 on the bench who have come through the youth system. Fair play to Smith for fielding what seems like an attacking team. Hopefully Lafferty can produce his NI striker form for this match and show why we paid so much for him. What worries me most is that Celtic fans I've spoke to all think we're going to win, and I never like that feeling of being favourites going into the Old Firm game, but we've produced performances in the last year or so when the pressure's been on, so more of the same today please.
