What does the future hold for Rangers now we know there will be no new buyer to save the day. Will more players Leave? Will we Replace boyds goals? Novos pace and passion for the club? will we retain the league next season? will kyle lafftery ever win a ball in air? Questions that we speculate about every day but are still no closer to the answers. My opinion is that without any new investors and losing key players such as boyd and novo and with doubts over the future of the likes of bougherra and wilson i doubt very much that we will retain the league let alone conduct or selfs well in the champions league .Uncle walter has produced magic in the past but can he really turn water into wine with the sqaud of players we have left? I will do my best to stay optimisic but things look grim at Ibrox.

spread the goals between who? you could put lafftery, naismiths and flicks goals together and you would be lucky to get half of boyds goals. Miller had a good season for goals but doubt he will produce that amount next season plus we have also lost novos goals. love your optimism bom bay bad boy but come on son dont get carried away. Boyd is replaceable, don't forget that if you took away penalties, Miller scored just as many goals as Boyd last season.

Novo will be missed, but there are plenty of players who care just as much for the club.

Of course we can retain the league; we have the best players, the best team and the best coaches.

I reckon Lafferty will come good this season.

And we may have our problems, but so do Celtic; they've lost two key players, have no Champions League football to look forward to, and have a new management team in place. If you want instability, head to Parkhead

take away the penalties and yes miller scored as many as boyd

but the fact remians boyd got what 23 league goals for us, gonna be hard to replace them

Mr DJW 1992 I take your points on board but you need to remember with celtic having no champions league football means the play less games and will be more focused on the league. Boyd is Not as easy to replace as you think tell me were we would get a player who gets his amount of goals with the shoestring budget we are on? I do agree miller did have a great goal tally but this may have been a fluke goal season as you look back at millers goal history at past clubs he is more the work horse than the fox in the box and as for lafftery i told myself once he would come good but lets face facts for the money we paid he is a big dissapointment and think deep down all the bears no it. - yes we will replace boyds goals, im sure someone else in the squad can take penalties and score in the easier games

- novos pace and passion is gone, but he was a bit part anyway, didnt play much at all

- yes we will retain our crown and keep it where it belongs

- yes big kyle will win headers, hes learning and getting better with every passing week

- boyd and novo are not key players, one didnt turn up in big games, the other didnt get a game in big games

- i hope wilson goes and if we do sell bougherra we can look forward to around 8million for Sir Walter to spend

Everyone has to step up to the plate now and be counted,Naismith hasn't had a run as striker neither has Lafferty so you can't say whether it will or won't work out for them there.If we get a replacement for Boyd i doubt he would get 30 a season either so it has to be spread out.

Guys like Davis and McCulloch should be getting more goals from midfield.

Tighter next season ? I guess it's down to opinion,i think Lennon's a clown and over the course of the season he won't be able to keep that mob going at the same pace as us.
