Muff 245
This guy will come good. He's a good classy footballer and you don't lose thatI don't think he will, later stages of his career, has suffered too many injuries and is struggling for fitness. He's hardly kicked a ball in 2010, and never had a proper pre-season. Bar one or two seasons earlier on in his career, I've never rated him - he'll be another Velicka IMO, although I hope he proves me wrong.
neilstonloyal 186
a think he was free cause a doubt we would pay that for a 32 year old

TravelingWilBEARy 4,319
Are people basing these fee's on reality?
Madina 3,812
We may never know how much was paid for him. I really hope he comes good but at the minute he is looking to be a bit of a Franny Jeffers signing
docspiderman 1,228
I don't think he will, later stages of his career, has suffered too many injuries and is struggling for fitness. Bar one or two seasons earlier on in his career, I've never rated him - he'll be another Velicka IMO, although I hope he proves me wrong. The fact is that he has never had any pace and even if he had a pre season under his belt he would still be a tad slower than snails pace.More worrying is his inability to strike tha ball cleanly or properly under no pressure in pre match shooting practice. papaguy51 912
I don't think we'll have spent too much on him at all, probably not even a million.Still, he's a classy player and just needs a goal.

McInnes87 18
Was always of the opinion it was £1.5million.Terrible signing?.. Youre some 'supporter', he's not even fully fit yet! give him at least a few games at his best before you jump on his back.
bawbaggery 0
The fact is that fee remains undisclosed. Question is why, and to what or whose advantage.http://footyblog.net/football-news/transfers/what-does-an-undisclosed-fee-mean-why-do-clubs-insist-on-using-undisclosed-fees/
Jimbo. 952
I thought it was £1.5m.Did seem a bit steep.
simplythebest 11,453
Stoke won't have let him go for free, even if he was a fringe player he still managed a decent number of games for them over a season and a half. He's struggled to live up to his billing a lot of the time especially at Everton which was a big move for him. At 32 he isn't likely to improve and we have no sell on value so i think the money could have been better spent.
