I bet he's gutted he even joined Middlesbrough. A move he didn't want to make but felt he had no choice after Walter told him we couldn't afford him a new contract

Funny how he did reject a new contract

Feel sorry for him. I posted the same thread a few weeks ago, first game back from injury and got injured again, seems its de ja vu

Any proof of this?

Absolute everything i read at the time was pretty clear cut; he asked to start new contract talks and was told we couldn't afford to extend his contract. He toyed with the idea of staying for this season and seeing out his contract but when Middlesbrough made the bid, he felt he had to go

Just seen on Sky sports score centre he went off injured. Wish the big man all the best. Doesnt have much luck :anguish:

Im glad he isn,t having much luck at Boro rather than us.

The last thing we need is another injury prone jinx picking up a wage for no return.
