Groin injury.

Where did you hear that and did they say if he'd be missing for longer? He's on the bench so can't be that bad, at least we have more than adequate cover in Alexander

Alexander gets a rare start in goal due to McGregor's injury

STV.

NEIL ALEXANDER will take his place between the posts tonight on his first European outing since the 2008 UEFA Cup final.

The goalkeeper has not played in continental competition since facing Zenit at the City of Manchester stadium almost three years ago.

He steps in for Allan McGregor with one eye on the League Cup final later this month where he will again replace McGregor.
