A pot to piss in

Simple answer to a a very convoluted fiasco, yes another, put your offer in mr whyte, an official notarised offer, along with your pot that your people and others keep claiming you have.

You will have done everything right and exposed those you say are thwarting your honest endeavors, if as your people claim you are ready to go, what is stopping you.

No one can stop you from making a very public offer, but you would need to have the pot, looks like SDM has called your bluff (again), rather amateurish to claim a steering committee who have no power of veto are stopping you, time to piss or get off the pot, and stop wasting every one's time.

Our Tax-case started today.

I'd imagine he's, quite wisely, waiting to see how that pans-out and how liable the club, as opposed to MIH, might be.

You can hardly blame him for that.

It's the gorilla in the bathroom. :pipe:

He is the one who wants to buy the club but has still to make his offer official,he was the one who has been delaying making the bid for the last few weeks(possibly for good reasons), suddenly sources from his camp are saying he is ready but now is being delayed by the board. If he wants the club he has to make his bid official; it is in his court as it has been for weeks.

To put it bluntly, it doesn't make a difference whether this takeover goes through tomorrow or at the end of the season, as much as we'd all prefer the former.

He's set to pump millions of his own cash into the Club. He has every right to take as long as he likes.

What's the problem with the op's suggestion? If press reports are true, Whyte was ready yesterday, meaning that all outstanding issues have been resolved, apart from the powerless board.

What's now stopping him from making a bid for the shares?

I just find it a bit unrealistic in this day and age of "financial transparency" that we haven't seen one shred of evidence that Whyte has any kind of multiple-mullions needed to buy us.

So for that reason I'm happy AJ etc have batted this back. Yes we would be better off debt free and clear of the banks influence but we probably need 10m additional to rebuild the squad now - for contracts and a few new players. If the guy actually had anything like the money presumed this would still be a bargain as Rangers assets are worth over 50m at present.
