Goianegra 4,682
Would be a decent signing, i'd expect 2-3 million but yet again as you mentioned wages could be a problem. Depends on how well we sell the club, some players come to Ibrox and fall in love insantly whereas others like Eagles and Commons have nothing but money on their mind.Bit unfair on Eagles. He signed a contract with Burnley which was apparently worth less than what we offered him. Maybe just didn't like it up here.

Clemdog 39,389
He did play for Villa though so lets not lay on the 'Brum lad' chat too thick.Would be a good replacement if Newcastle lose Barton. Capable of playing for any EPL team bar the top 6.

Baz the Bear 1
Excellent player, liked him since his Villa days but really became a player at Brum. If he leaves them id expect he will have his pick from a few teams in the PL and the transfer fee will be upwards of £4m. Love it if we could get him though
PaulRFC1 115
What about them? What hes on?Gardner earns £21,000-a-week at Villa Park plus an extra £2,000 per appearance.Read more: http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Aston-Villa-midfielder-Craig-Gardner-close-to-completing-move-to-bitter-rivals-Birmingham-article291393.html#ixzz1N7pnGrfdThats before he moved to Birmingham so they are probably around 30k.He is easily one of there best players and would not be cheap. BigBlueDougie 1
From personal knoweledge Craig wouldnt leave Blue's if he was offered silly money from United. He is a Blue nose ( English sense of the word) and wants to help Birmingham as much as possible, they may have rivals in Villa but it aint as frowned against as much if they sign a player from their locals as they were to be if it was Rangers and Celtic signing each others players.Craig, Ridge and Curtis Davies all played for Villa before signing for Brum so it is not at all a problem. From what I know, Gards is very much a one dimensional player, in other words he only knows one role and that is, Right Centre Midfield, albeit a cracking player who is box to box and can hit a ball form 30+ yards. One I would very much like to see at Ibrox but we do not have the pulling power that the Prem has, so I would see him either at Brum next season in an attempt to get them straight back up, or a mid table Prem club at best. GlasgowsBlue 329
I'd take him, we need a CM unless Edu improves
Plamf 39
Compared to cunts like Conway I would jump at him despite doing fuck for years
bombaybadboy08 15,660
He wouldn't sign for any of the Old Firm, heard it from lots of people that know him.His folks have a chippy in the City Centre do they not and he knows it would affect his family. As consistent as a lottery win anyway.

ClaretGer 5
Very good player but as said above, wage demands rule us out. People saying he's a Brummie lad etc is bollocks, loyalty in football is non-existent these days.

ClaretGer 5
Like I said before, if Barton leaves Newcastle he'd be an almost perfect replacement.Agreed, could even argue it'd be a step up from Barton.

MikeBlue 136
Would be a massive waste of money IMO. Always injured and on the odd occasion he is actually fit to play he is so greedy that he makes Nacho look like Iniesta

AdzKyle 7,836
I dont see the fuss over him to be honest. He is never fit and when he does play he has maybe 3 or 4 good games a season.Definite no from me
NessFTW 40
ffs he's not InestaI know. I'd love to sign Craig Gardner but he's highly rated down south and I doubt we could get him.
