NorthernLights 2,529
Hooper is a poacher who has scored 4 this season.
OLE SUPER WILBERT 2,475
Are you seriously comparing Hooper with Jelavic Broxi? Seriously. One is a Croatian international and the other is a League 1 player.Hooper is not a League 1 player.
SirWalterSmithLegend 206
Hooper is not a League 1 player.Sorry, a relegation level Championship player, no better as his performances have shown.
SirWalterSmithLegend 206
Of course not but based on the point he made. Hooper is a good player and anyone that says they wouldn't take him for Rangers if he didn't play for them has their specs on.I dont wear blue specs so that cant be my reason, i simply dont rate him and wouldnt have him in our team. We have better, at least 3 better.

theweebluenose 4,343
You really can't compare Hooper and Jelavic, Hooper is a poacher with a bit of pace who will get you a good number of goals per season. Jelavic is a far superior Footballer player who won't always be on the score sheet but will certainly make an impact on the game.Better technicallyBetter in the airStrongerBetter link up playMore intelligent I could go on. Whyte N McKay 17
How about Hooper and Boyd? Would you swop Boyd's 100 goals against everybody else for Hoopers dirty half-dozen against us?

We have better, at least 3 better.as one of the ones who doesn't wear his specs I'll trust you have your reasons, but I disagree. I would say we have one better, assuming Naismith is a RM in this since that's where he'd play.

bluegecko 306
At the rate TLB is ruining half decent players with his piss poor man management they'll be lucky if their whole team's worth that figure come January
bombaybadboy08 15,660
£700,000 would be more realistic.

MayboleLoyal_atb 4,047
A shite Kris Boyd with a touch more work rate!
deleteduser1 169
If Who?per is worth 7 million then Naisy must be worth 3 times as much. If they get 3 million for him they have won a watch. I honestly think he is worth considerably less than that sum. 1.5 million is a truer valuation.

4MenHadADream 122
so has Jelavic's yet we want £15m for him.Not saying Hooper isn't a good player, but he is a poacher who only contributes goals and frankly has yet to score goals at anything other than an okay level. For that reason I feel that £5 million would be a reasonable price. Anyone thinking that anyone would pay £15million for Jelavic or any SPL player nowadays is having a laugh. ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
Is that how the paper say it's £5mill and Newcastle want him. He's just like Kris boyd but, hooper is faster than him. but will never score as many goals as boyd.just look at the papers until January his price will go up and up. then when the window opens no one will come in for him. If he played for Rangers the papers would be saying he's worth 1 or £2million.
Shearer 124
I know for a fact that Newcastle offered 4.8M for him in January When they sold Carrol. He is a pretty decent player and I for one one would be chuffed if they sold him and kept Banura or Samuras up top.
willowbankbear 8
Is it Newcastle in for him again?

We are not talking about an England call up, only the selik minded are wishing for that, words cannot say how far away from the England team or squad up he is.
