The Monk 3,208
McGregor 7- did nothing wrong though did nothing great.Whittaker 5- the weak link today but helped a fair bit on the attack.Goian 7- did nothing wrong held the defence together.Bartley 6- didn't do too much wrong but looked shakey.Broadfoot 7- suprisingly solid, assissted Wylde in attackAluko 9- great game, showed some real flair and creativity.Edu 8- thought he was great and helped everywhere on the pitchDavis 6- not too bad, though nothing greatWylde 7- Good flair and runs but crossing let him downBendiksen 8- First start and provided Jelavic and our midfield good support and linked the two.Jelavic 6- should really have scored more but held the ball up quite well. Broxi 11,721
agree with OP mostly but would give Whittaker 5 and Jelavic 4.5. Didn't think he was as good as 5 but 4 was harsh.Got his goal but it was a penalty and his touch was atrocious at times.
Amac9 2,060
McGregor: - 6 - Nothing really to do, some poor distribution.Whittaker: - 4 - Broadfoot got slated for being posted missing in action against St Mirren, were was Whittaker today? Crossing is awful.Goian: - 5 - Too many long balls, beat easily for the goal and was lucky to stay on the park. Could have got booked for a similar incident to his booking, ref missed it.Bartley: - 6 - Done okayBroadfoot: - 7 - Good performanceAluko: - 8 - Great displayDavis: - 5.5 - Good first half, average second.Edu: - 7.5 - Very tidy in possession and made a few good forward passes into the strikers/wingers.Wylde: - 7 - His final ball was more consistent today.Bendikson: - 6.5 - Showed a lot of promise. Looks a natural footballer. Linked up well with others.Jelavic: - 4 - Mostly because of his goal, shocking performance today.Subs:Lafferty: - 2 - Hardly got into the gameI said it at the time and having seen it again I still think McGregor was badly at fault for the goal. Colonel Mustard 380
McGregor: - 5 - Should not have been beaten at near post. Distribution woeful. Whittaker: - 6 - Supported well going forward.Goian: - 6 - What's with this walking with the ball out of defence he does? Needs to smarten up his ideas to keep the tempo up when he gets (the usual regular) posession at the back.Bartley: - 7 - Played well.Broadfoot: - 7 - Defended well, and got forward well. Maybe he also needs to stick a brush up his arse, and sweep the park to get some credit.Aluko: - 8 - Started well, then fell out of it. Credit to him that he forced his way back in again. Nice.Davis: - 6 - Did OK.Edu: - 6 - He didn't do anything wrong. It's always a plus when he isn't dilly-dallying and getting caught in posession. Nice to see him winning a couple of tackles for a change.Wylde: - 6 - He caused bother when he got past defenders. Looked the part.Bendiksen: - 6 - Done well, but disappeared for long periods.Jelavic: - 3 - Control woeful. Finishing woeful. Passing woeful. Attitude woeful. He gets 3 points for scoring a penalty. TexasGers 96
McGregor: - 5 - Didn't have much other to do, than pick the ball out of the net. Whittaker: - 5 - Average at best...Goian: - 6 - Reasonably solid game, has played better...Bartley: - 6 - Solid game, he'll improve with gamesBroadfoot: - 5 - tries hard, but he's simply not good enoughAluko: - 8 - Very impressiveDavis: - 5 - Missing...Edu: - 8 - Very good game, played to his full ability. More of the same please!Wylde: - 6 - Final ball at times wasn't good enoughBendiksen: - 7 - Showed a lot of promise. Very tidy player... the future looks bright.Jelavic: - 6 - not one of his better days, well taken penalty. Should have scored in the first minute.Subs:Lafferty: - 5 - Got himself in good positions, didn't take his chances though.Agree with these. I'm excited to see more of Bendiksen and Aluko

DamienM855 413
Broadfoot and whitts were both actually really good going forward today, but they kept getting caught out on the counter attack - they were clearly not used to juggling both attacking and defensive duties.Goian was actually our worst player today imo, looked incredibly vulnerable to pace, he really misses bocanegra beside him, although bartley was good today, but is too inexperienced to be expected to organise the defence.Jelavic seemed to be really struggling though, hope he turns it back on soon
docspiderman 1,262
McGregor: - 7 - Must live on his nerves worrying how Whittaker will mess up.Whittaker: - 3 - Dire in defence and easily Dunfermline's best threat to our goal.Goian: - 5 - Shaky game and far from his usual steady performance.Bartley: - 6 - Needs more games but he is prepared to play the ball rather than lump it.Broadfoot: - 6 - Did alright but he is the absolute master of the aimless diagonal cross to the opposition defenders heads.Aluko: - 8 - Surprised me greatly,I did not think he had the quality he showed throughout the game, looking forward to when he gets fully fit.Davis: - 4 - Poor again, obviously did not take on his managers plea to play at a faster tempo and be more direct.Slowed every positive move down by refusing to play the obvious quick forward pass, misplaced and over hit simple balls. What annoys me is a midfielder who stands still and he did that, most apparent near the end when Aluko was trying to keep the ball against 3 opponents and Davis rather than move towards him to give an option stood watching.I do not know what is wrong with him but he does not seem to have the desire or energy recently.Edu: - 8 - Played a great box to box midfield role, never stopped moving and pressed to win the ball and drove forward with purpose.Wylde: - 6 - He is a tremendous outlet and takes pressure off the defence but it may be too late for him to learn to run with ball without looking at it and he will always end up crossing blind with no great purpose.Bendikson: - 7 - Showed a lot of promise. Looks a natural footballer. Linked play up well and showed up his captain by his ability and willingness to pass and move. For me his substitution was a turning point and Dunfermline seemed to come into the game after that.Jelavic: - 5 - Frustrating day for him and us.Subs:Lafferty: - 4 The old Lafferty returned; uncoordinated selfish and ineffective.Plus points; we played mostly on the ground with, on the whole, decent passing although possibly tending to over pass close to goal. GersAvA92 53
McGregor: - 6 - Didn't have much to do, ball was in too much space for first goal.Whittaker: - 5 - Sloppy positioning for the goal conceded, ran at the opposition a few times. Tried a few shots but still not looking sharp.Goian: - 6 - Solid, got booked for what looked like a needless tackle though.Bartley: - 7 - Good tackling, passed the ball well.Broadfoot: - 7 - Much better performance; defended well, supported Wylde and attacked on occasions.Aluko: - 9 - Won the penalty, ran rings around the Pars defenders, looked sharp and eager to attack at all times. Much deserved MOTM. Davis: - 6 - Another below-par game, kept the passes going in the midfield but I wish he'd use is passing skills to assist the front 1 or 2 instead of punting long balls over to no one.Edu: - 8 - Really good match from Edu, didn't fault and when he lossed the ball he tracked back and won it. Good running too.Wylde: - 7 - Was good to have him back, beat his man a lot but the final cross wasn't the best today.Bendiksen: - 6.5 - Good to see another youngster get a game, didn't look out of place and was comfortable on the ball.Jelavic: - 5.5 - Apart from the penalty goal, he looked sluggish and couldn't create much for himself. Dunno if the stupid talk of him moving on in Jan is affecting his play. Hope he performs better next week.Sub:Lafferty: - 5.5 - Ran with the ball in attacking positions but no end product. Creampuff 22,628
Broadfoot played the best game he can play for us.He wasn't exactly awe inspiring, but he done his job, and got forward when he could.
StuartM6 279
Mcgregor- 6 comfortable game, not much to do.Whittaker- 5 poor defensively for the goal, showed promise going forwardGoian- 6 struggling without captain america, could have done better at the goalBartley- 6 strong in tackles as ever, nearly caught out a couple of timesBroadfoot- 7 good game defensively. Went forward well in the first halfDavis- 6 better, but still nowhere near his usual class. A solid performance outshone by the creativity of bendikson, aluko and edu.Edu- 9 MOTM, broke the play up with ease got forward at every opportunity. One of his best performances this seasonAluko- 8 main threat to a weak defense. Fell out of it a bit towards the end. Trickery, pace and skill caused problems all afternoon.Bendikson- 7 linked midfield and attack well in the first half. Lost our shape when he went off.Wylde- 7 beat his man nearly every time. Still hit and a miss with his final deliveryJelavic- 6 bad day at the officeSub: lafferty 5- failed to connect with jelavic, struggled to do what TKB had beenMccoist's team selection and tactics- 9 much better, good use of bendikson, aluko and wylde in a formation that currently suits us.Substitutions- 5 brought bendikson off too early, lost our shape and momentum when he went off. Blue Forever 179
McGregor - 5 - Should not have been beaten for the goal, horrific distribution.Whittaker - 2 - Woeful in defence, woeful pushing forward.Goian - 7 - Solid, apart from needless bookingBartley - 7 - Solid also.Broadfoot - 7 - Best he can be, defended well, and tried to support attack.Aluko - 9 - Bag of tricks and flicks. Looked by far our most potent threat.Davis - 4 - Needs to get his act together.Edu - 8 - Won the ball back countless times, passing was good.Wylde - 5 - Pace worried Dunfermline, delivery did not.Bendiksen - 6 - Showed some nice touches.Jelavic - 3 - Dire, apart from penalty.
