Senna 735
So that's three times that video evidence has been used this season.Twice it's resulted in a ban for a Rangers player, once it's to clear a Hibs player.Nice and consistent, SFA. I'll be emailing you lot any time the tims dive and gain from it (which will be every week).
graeme_4 34,874
Really he did dive, if a 2 game ban is the going rate then the correct decision has been made in this case. The issue here is that others have dived and got away with it previously. There is real inconsistency here.
Ace 3,556
When I see people using Samarat as a "but what about him", it annoys me as there is no comparison. If you wish to compare apples with apples use the O'Conner incident, his was a much clearer case of simulation, christ, even his own assistant manger siad it was a dive yet he was found not guilty, now that is a decision worth quoting when comparing incidents.I am looking for consistency, was it a soft penalty ... absolutely, he went down very easily but being given a 2 match ban for a yellow card .... just to make an example of This smacks of hypocrisy at the SFA, they must come out & defend thier decision and explain where the differences lie between these 2 incidents. simplythebest 11,453
This - in spades. The battle lines are drawn - I'd like to think the club will now consider its position regarding the SFA and all that it entails.Don't see what we can do about it? CanadianBacon 2,088
You're incredibly naive if you think a board member has to sit in on a decision to be able to influence it.bluepeter, old bean, Lieswell has no influence - none - he's just there to see if he can help. His connection with Nonce FC is purely coincidental - he's a benign force and holds no sway with all the other Selik-minded bigots on this SFA hanging party - indeed poor Pete didn't want to even go there - he was dragged into this position kicking and scratching. At least that's what GLC and others would have us believe. Do you think Gordon Smith used to tell the discplinary board to go heavy on the tims when he was chief Exec of the SFA ?
graeme_4 34,874
Don't see what we can do about it?Nothing really. It's just the usual angry, poorly considered, unthought out reaction the majority of us have when a big decision goes against us.
JamieD 19,052
What was the difference between Aluko's and Sutton's respective 'dives' on Saturday?http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/16025156.stmLook at the video from about 2:20-ish onwards. What the fuck? How has this not been fast-tracked by our wonderful, impartial SFA?
CanadianBacon 2,088
Don't see what we can do about it?Strater for 10. Colonel Mustard 380
Wayne Rooney has now got the same length of England ban for violent conduct, as Aluko has for supposed simulation with Rangers.Something isn't working right.

JamieD 19,052
That's fucking scandalous.Honestly one of the worst dives I've EVER seen. Makes some of Steven Gerrard's best efforts look tame.Reminds me a bit of Willem Dafoe's death in Platoon.
