Mitchy1094 3
Great to see from the players if true. It just shows that we've got a great group of guys.
Thermopylae 15,287
The scummy mhedia would take a wage cut with all this bad news to report ... talk about your work is also your hobby
soulboy 2,521
If this helps to keep someone elses job at the club be it someone in the office etc then it's highly commendable. At my work they were wanting redundancies but people were willing to take reduction in hrs so others wouldn't lose their jobs
mairydilk 22
will people still abuse players for a misplaced pass or not covering their man if they know they're doing if for free?
Dietspam 733
Sorry, no paper quotes yet, maybe tomorrow. Darrell King was talking to Frazer Wishart who was with the players today. Darrell said he'd heard it and asked if Frazer could confirm, but he couldn't for obvious reasons.Didn't big Amo do the same? I'm sure he took a drop in wages when we downsized in the McLeish era. Thermopylae 15,287
If true then it will help to forster a feeling of togetherness at the club and that's what we want
GOAT 30,449
If this is true, I am so proud of the players and this club. An absolutely fucking fantastic gesture.
WilliamFyfe 1,438
I take my hat off and bow down to our players and say thank you. Players of today always think about money and this would be a shock if true.

FirrhillLoyal 318
Who do you think would take a wage cut? Davis, Naismith, Shagger, Lafferty, Jig. Maybe Wallace and Whittaker?
LegendofCoop 17,488
I might be kidding myself on here but I'd be fairly confident in thinking that some of them would play for free at least for a while.Shagger, McCulloch, Lafferty and Davis spring to mind.Lucky to have fans playing for the club. I don't want to try & put a negative spin on things, but apparently during the meeting with the administrators, it was Davis, McCulloch & Shagger who were leading the questions...including asking for reassurance that they would be paid this month. I don't blame them one bit for doing so, as they have bills just like the rest of us. But I'm not so sure they'd play for free. That said, I am certain they would take a wage cut to help the club!! Hero's one and all if true!!!
WilliamFyfe 1,438
I'd understand folk not wanting to take pay cuts and leaving. But they'll never play for a Greater Club than Rangers
Broxi 11,693
This is what's seperated us from them over the last 3 or 4 years. We are a team, and the players are united in playing for the club and it's fans.
gordov 17
Did Seb Rozental not refuse wages because he was constantly injured! Great gesture I true!

bgally 452
Just heard on the radio there that our top earners at the club noted that they are willing to take a wage reduction. Good to hear at times like this that they are not money grabbing idiots and actually care about the club. thats loyalty for you, fair play to the lads, lets reward them with a full house this week end. He's blue he's white 717
According to Talk Sport it was the senior players asking the Leading questions as they were nominated by other players to be spokespersons for entire club. Confirmed by Darrell king (II think) on same show that the players who earn higher wages are willing to take a wage cut to ensure that players and staff don't lose their jobs!Amazing statement and would expect nothing less, although I do feel players and staff will still be trimmed next week. We don't do walking away!
