For how long will it last.Do you know how much it costs to run a benefit system? Or a national health service?One example, we lose £100m in missed doctors appointments! How much do you think prescriptions will be? Our people will die if we try the usa example, as there will be NO NHS.Tourist industry? Dont make me laugh. The cost of living will be so high no-one will come here. Its extortionate to holiday here right now.The price of gas & electric would go through the roof. Believe me, I also work in the industry.We would not generate enough money to cover the Benefit system let alone do anything else.Public sector would disappear, all non productive, that taxes pay for. Talking of taxes, how much do you think they would rise to? Private sector would disappear as no country will be able to afford investment. It won't work just in the same way the UK national govt is failing.. What we would need is a Hong-Kong style tiger economy, No income tax, No corporation tax, No tariffs on import and exports and work toward phasing out the NHS and benefit system.. What we need are proper free market economics with sound money and less regulation of businesses.. We live in a massive nanny state were the population are spoon fed at the expense of the tax payer and tax is nothing more than govt theft, why should i or anyone else pay NI contributions to pay for someone else's lifestyle choice? ie methadone for junkies and the like..Il prolly get a heap of neg reps for this post but i don't care, people need to wake up and realise that socialism does not work, other than to slowly rob a nations people of their freedoms and their wealth..
