Not referring to anyone at the club now, just sayIng I'd like to see younger players rather than guys like savage

couldnt agree more on that point mate......we should bring in a core of players 18-21 as well as those already there mixed with good experience will stand us in good stead for the future.....

He off as well?

Still here.

RANGERS had two players on trial this morning as Ally McCoist continues his quest to bolster his Light Blues squad.

Brazilian midfielder Andre Moritz was part of the group which worked at Murray Park after he arrived in Glasgow over the weekend.

And Frenchman Sebastian Faure was also back at Auchenhowie after spending time there towards the end of last week.

Left-sided Moritz, who holds an Italian passport and would not need a work permit, started his career at Avai in his homeland before going on to play at Internacional and Fluminense.

He then moved to Turkish football in 2007 and spent time with Kasimpasa SK and Kayserispor, the club currently managed by ex-Ger Shota Arveladze.

Moritz, 26, was most recently with Mersin Idmanyurdu and is available for nothing as he is a free agent.

Faure, meanwhile, is a former France under-20 defender who started his career at Lyon and went to Nantes on loan from them earlier this year.

The temporary switch was unsuccessful, however, as he suffered further pain following a previous broken toe.

Faure left the Stade de Gerland in the summer and was on trial with Leeds earlier this summer but didn’t sign a deal with them.

The 21-year-old has good pedigree, having represented his country at under-17, under-18, under-19 and under-20 levels.

Faure was also part of the French squad which came fourth in the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Colombia last year.

McCoist, assistant manager Kenny McDowall and first-team coach Ian Durrant will continue looking at the two players this week before deciding whether to offer them contracts.

Rangers have so far made five new signings this summer, bringing Ian Black, Fran Sandaza, Dean Shiels, Kevin Kyle and Emilson Cribari to the club.

Forward Andy Little also returned to the Light Blues to sign terms after his previous deal expired in May.

And McCoist is keen to bolster his pool further ahead of the start of a year-long transfer embargo on September 1.

We don't even need another centre back

Carlos Bocanegra, Dorin Goian, Emilson Cribari, Ross Perry, Darren Cole & Chris Hegarty

If truth be told I would rather Boca and Goian left and we signed this guy as they don't seem up for it their heart is elsewhere.

Presuming both Boca and Goian will be off once we secure replacements. Also, you missed out captain Kirk
