Ours wasn't anything to scream about midweek so I shall not be gloating yet.

Nearly 24,000 for a mid-week Ramsdens Cup game (a record) against 1st divison QOTS?

With the exception of maybe four - no other Club in the UK would get that kind of attendance for that kind of 2nd rate competition.

Was there not another thread before about the actual attendance at one of their games(a letter from the police or something) and then the quoted figure with season tickets added in?

If so 41,000 including season tickets is poor.

There is another FOI request in - stupidly for the same game (Aberdeen). There is also a request in for the East Fife (cup) game. There are alsoi a couple of request awaiting replies regarding the amount of stops the police have carried out with Rangers supporters buses and Celtic supporters buses.

41,000 for the mhanks game i fuckin doubt!

I drove from Rutherglen down past Shawfield to Dunn street on the way home at 2:50 and you could see the stand facing the main stand was near empty!...you could see the Nike shite sign stains clearly on the seats.

Fixed that ! :D

Those bus ones should be interesting.

The first column (change) is comparing the total of the clubs attendance against the same clubs the previous season. Some clubs are up and some are down. Aberdeen are up probably because of #selloutsaturday. St. Johnstone are up because their game against Aberdeen last season in winter midweek and on tv. The second change column is this seasons average less last seasons average. If you're wondering about the total for the average looking an odd figure this is the total attendance at the SPL games this season (396,593) / number of games (40).

Questions being asked in the request.....

1) How many buses were stopped & searched

2) What reasonable grounds of suspicion or evidence was there to

stop and search each bus for offence

3) How many officers in total were involved in search

4) Location of each search

5) Total costs of each operation

6) Duration of each operation

7) How much alcohol was recovered and how and where was is disposed

of

8) Number of cautions or arrests

Good post - look forward to seeing this each week.

I wonder what the financial tipping points will be for some of the SPHell clubs? A combination of so-called fans not turning out, reduced dosh from TV, costs of running clubs including servicing debt. Will be interesting to see which ones become egg-like and are cracked and scrambled.

Who knows, maybe they will have cut their cloth to ride out the financial storm of reduced money coming in. But as they well know its a downward greasy spiral for their football and there are only 3 questions: (1) how fast does the spiral take irreversable hold?; and (2) when do they crash and burn?; and (3) from the resulting wreckage - if they survive - what kind of reception will they get when they dare to pitch up at Ibrox? Here's hoping for some juicy SPHell collapse stories to unfold.
