the SPL circus, part II: RE: Hearts Wages

Some of you may have seen my thread the other day regarding Hearts.

On Monday, they recieved a formal warning for the non-payment of wages for September, even though the SPL knew the club was guilty of the same offence for October.

Yup, thats right, logic defies those clowns at the SPL... they warned an organisation not to do something again... knowing they alread HAD done it again.

so today, 2 days after issueing the warning for September, the clowns really outdone themselves by hitting Hearts with an October sanction.

the sanction, you ask?

A transfer ban.... or 'regiistration embargo' if you prefer. Hearts cannot sign anyone until... wait for it....... the 23rd of December. So, let us get this one right.... they are barred from signing anyone while the window is closed anyone... and the ban lifts... before the next window opens.

To be fair to the SPL, they ARE fit for purpose. The purpose of a clown is to generate laughter. I'm sure M.r Romanov is pishing his pants at this one.

They can still sign free agents, and just not play them until December, not that many clubs do.

What an utterly pointless sanction.

indeed, hearts have 10 games in that 60-day embargo. So, should they hypothetically sign any free agents, (at a time where clubs struggle through an all-time financial low for the division and struggles to pay it's wage bill), they can't play these new marquee signings for 10 games

The thing is they cannot allow another club to plunge into admin especially their biggest one outside of us and the taigs.

It would kill off the SPL and they will do whatever they can to prevent it from happening, Hearts or anyother club will not recieve punishments that could harm their future while we are not around to line pockets.

If it's that bad then it will happen one day, and if the SPL or the SFA try there hardest not to punish hearts it will only get worse for hearts.

The sfa can't make any meaningful punishment as they need them too much. However letting them continue when seemingly insolvent could be the worst possible thing for both of them. If they continue to rack up debts to the point they can't avoid bekng wound up they're fucked.

Only sporting integrity can save them........

If they are thrown out the SPL perhaps they could apply to the SFL ?

If this happens then I think the directors of our club should allow the fans to decide if we vote them in or not, but only on condition we increase our support to make up for lost revenue.......... Oh , unlike the SP hell clubs we' ve already done that.

So hopefully it will be goodbye :h34rt: s -----------> :redcard::21:

Surely if the club let's us fans decide and we decide "sporting integrity" must prevail, then this could hurt us badly.

They might boycott our home games :sherlock::lol:
