Reformation Bear 6,453
Good photo. A giant of a football arena waiting patiently for big european games and title winning games again but still hugely impressive with the massive crowds for our home games in Div 3. When we fill it with loyal bears all signing noisily for Rangers it absolutely rocks. What a stadium! Fit for the best club in Scotland. LegendofCoop 18,165
40,000 quid a year just to run the lights!!True, but over 250,000.00 GBP a season to replace the turf. I think I'm right in saying that these lamps are designed to encourage the grass to grow all year round, rather than letting the pitch turn into a mud-bath leaving us having to get a new one in the close season. Stoorie 1,090
That picture is awesome.Would love to wander around a quiet Ibrox with the grass lights on, sit where I want and soak in the atmosphere with thoughts of past glories and players. Then see the place full to the rafters a few days later.
