If there´s a big guy out there hoovering up shares he would instruct his brokers to do it piecemeal to avoid the shares skyrocketing, As for the sellers they are most likely among the original investors or there´s a "wash" going on (Institutions buying and selling among themselves driving the price upwards).

I can imagine a scenario where many of the original investors have sold most of their shares at a nice profit while we´ll find ourselves with a few bigger shareholders, a lot of smaller holdings among fans and some institutions holding the corner position.

BTW our Market Capital now stands at £101 (Bloody Google!) £63 million.

That's how much all our shares (therefore our club) are hypothetically worth if somebody wanted to buy the lot right now.

Yes, but if there was an takeover offer right now I´d guess we´d look at summat like £80m..

Think institutions who are in for the long term "loan" their shares to traders who buy and sell, the institutions take a commissions and get their shares back.

Remember folks.

When the first dividend is paid that you will be classed as a group 1 investor because you purchased the shares at a special price.

Anyone buying post the IPO will have those shares eligible for a Group 2 holding and therefore will receive 'Equalisation' on their holding meaning they won't pay tax on a % of their holding.

Eg a share holder who purchased 1000 shares in the IPO and 500 shares after would have their dividend calculated as so.

Gp 1 - 1000 shares @ 0.50 ppu (pence per unit)

Gp 2 - 500 shares @ 0.40 ppu

Eq - 500 shares @ 0.10 ppu

Gp 1 income - £5

Gp 2 income - £2

Eq Income - £0.50

Tax is only paid on the £7 (Gp 1 + Gp 2)

However if you have it in an ISA fund you'll receive your tax back as a tax rebate.

Straightforward?

So if I'm reading that correctly, what you're saying is: Jelavic can play in Europe?

On a serous note - does anyone know if or how you can transfer your purchased shares into an ISA?

Google has some info...

https://www.google.c...channel=suggest

but it doesn't look easy.

there's abit about "can't transfer shares that are listed exclusively on AIM" - that bit raises some alarm bells, because maybe RFC is exclusively on AIM

I thought that there was some sort of change recently to allow inclusion of AIM shares.

I think this will be a good settling point for it, may see a bit of a move when they share certificates are posted out.

Heard a rumour that the RST never actually bought any shares and all parties will be refunded what they initially invested. Will be confirmed once they have their certificate and only if the share price is still higher than 85p
