Bloody Hell, it doesn't take much to get people panicking after a good win yesterday.

If he's been brought up to Auchenhowie to train etc, someone at the club MUST think this injury prone is worth evaluating, even with his past history and lack of goals. That is what is most worrisome.

Sky Sports understands that former Stoke City striker Mamady Sidibe is training with Scottish League One side Rangers.

The 33-year old is available on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract at the Britannia Stadium earlier this summer.Sidibe's final years as a Stoke player were plagued by injury, although he spent the majority of last season out on loan at Sheffield Wednesday and Tranmere Rovers.

The Mali international, who joined from Gillingham in 2005, spent eight years as a Stoke player, scoring 26 goals in the process.

Rangers have had a number of players on trial already this summer, notably former Sheffield United and Motherwell midfielder Nicky Law.

a 33yr old that has scored 26 goals in 8 years?

Why would you keep such a shit striker so long?

And Ally, if you're reading this, DON'T BE STUPID!!

A striker that averages 3 goals a season is obviously shit. I guarantee there is over 10 defenders in the EPL with a better strike rate.

RANGERS have taken two former Premiership players on trial as Ally McCoist continues looking for potential additions to his squad.

Mamady Sidibe and Hameur Bouazza joined the Light Blues squad for training this morning at Murray Park after arriving in Glasgow last night.

Both players are represented by Gregory Dakad, the same agent who looks after new Gers defender Bilel Mohsni.

Mali international forward Sidibe left Stoke City last season after eight seasons with the Potters, during which time he was also on loan at Sheffield Wednesday and Tranmere.

The 33-year-old had previously played in the English lower leagues with Swansea City and Gillingham.

Bouazza, meanwhile, is available as a free agent having most recently played in Spain with Racing Santander, where he was a team-mate of Carlos Bocanegra’s last season.

The Algerian winger, 28, also has extensive English experience having represented seven clubs there including Fulham, Charlton, Watford and Blackpool.
