allgers 735
Tbh I thought the opposite but would never admit it! Would always say shagger was better (until he collected his pieces of silver) in public, but I knew Gordon was better when fully fit. He got the nod over mcgregor in every Scotland squad when both were fully fitTBH thats were I was going with the biased bit, a fit Craig Gordon would be an asset to Rangers, with some of his best years ahead, but its a gamble, can we afford any passengers, I suppose with a large squad you are always going to have some, with a pay as you play deal there could be something in it for us. Couldn't possibly give him a 3 year deal or anything like that. Im sure he would accept fair terms due to his history of injury. However if he does shine for us we need to make sure he can't walk away for nothing! " tight rope spud, it's a fucking tight rope!!!"
StewGer 606
If he gets fit and signs that's Cammy Bell benched, at his best Gordon is a fantastic Goalie, remains to be seen but I would be delighted if it works out.
YorkshireBear 222
He will never take a pay as you play deal.
gogzy 31,195
IF he can get fit and IF he does not command a big wage, then i wouod not be opposed to this.I am putting my faith in Ally and he has my full backing for now.
WeirFleckNRothen 1,789
Neil Alexander was the ideal back-up to McGregor and injury free, Craig Gordon could be an even better one to Bell.I don't believe in such a thing as being 'injury prone', either. If he can pass a medical, then he's fit enough to play for the Queen's eleven.Gallacher needs regular games, so must be sent out on loan. For his career, that's a necessity at this stage. WadeWilson 4,670
A £9M international who won't be short of a few bob after his move down South? It's a no-brainer... he will be a good back-up keeper (perhaps play him in the cups) if he doesn't try and get wage-hungry with us.
StrongbowLoyal. 36
Gallagher out on loan with the option to pull him back in needed and If you can get Gordon on a low wage on the understanding he gets his contracted ended if he ends up fucked whats the problem. johanhentze 14,294
Crazy/somewhat sad how his career has panned out so far.He should be in his pomp playing at the top level and now he's battling to win a deal for us to probably be a number 2 in the third tier of Scottish football.Absolutely!!
