simplythebest 11,453
I've only seen the guy on STV a couple of times and his posts as Fury on here. Seems like a decent guy with the club's best interests at heart. He's not quite all he seems but ultimately it's irrelevant to this thread so i'll say no more. Fools Gold 488
Excuse my ignorance if already mentioned, but didn't it cost a fuck-ton of money for the Murray investigation on Charles Green?Didn't that spunk away around a million quid or something?Just noticed it was £0.5 million earlier. My bad.

ForeverBlue_Since91 2,895
Might have known that Green would get the blame,Has Chris Graham took millions out of the club resigned then came back for more?

SE5 107
If you take time to add everything up, every penny will be accounted for. We are a huge company and business with many overheads. Off the top of my head we had,Wages for last year of at leastCoaches and directors salariesPlayer bonusesEdmiston HouseAlbion carparkFinesOne off payments during first 6 monthsOldco football debtsMaintenanceNew screensIPO set upIbrox running costsAuchenhowie running costsGoian and Bocanegra pay offsTaxesWhytes pay offGreens pay offGreen/Whyte investigationAnd there will be more things we don't know about. It's just paranoia and agenda driven nonsense to suggest money has somehow vanished without a trace.
TAFKA 545
Fact is we need to hit the bottom (again) before we can rebuild with a viable, sustainable model.King and McColl are waiting until Green, Stockbridge etc self-destruct. Sadly that will bring more pain for us but it will cleanse the club. They will step in when the leeches have had their fill and moved on.The absolutely last thing anyone should consider right now is putting more money in.Ironically, a slow response to ST sales might have brought this to a head sooner.Green's increasingly desperate posturing ("give me 14m by Friday", "let's debate on the telly") shows he knows the gravy train is about to be derailed.Regardless of all of this, we should NOT be spending around 2m on coaching staff to win Scotland's bottom two leagues. AlBear. 8,499
Worrying - Yes. But let's not get hysterical. Calm heads needed. This is a completely different situation from 18 months ago. We have no fraudulant hmrc investigation hanging over us. Even if all the IPO cash is gone we are currently debt free. We know what our situation is regarding where we're playing our football. We are in a much stronger position than we were before. We've survived worse, and we'll survive these leeches currently exploiting our club. Rangers will always endure with the strength of our passion and commitment. These were never going to be easy times with a unhindered ascent back to where we were. We will be stronger for these hard times we've still to overcome.Stay strong.

shankillblue1 349
All I'm saying is that all these "leaks" have come around since Charles Green came back... Oh dear, jumping to conclusions again. Agenda? There are many OUTSIDE the club with more to gain from where I am sitting. Getting as bad as them. Only time and evidence will tell. JRodgA2k8 542
Did they not mention several times that money has been invested in infrastructure in the club? This was during the meeting! A lot of costs from last year will be one offs no doubt! If the money is indeed gone there is no way we will spend anywhere near the same level of money this year. Bluepeter9 5,167
Calm down dears! In thinking about it it's entirely feasible we have gone throug £22m in cash but we will not have made a £22m lose and our cash reserves will be boosted by season ticket sales and other revenue - which is what Stockbridge said - wait for the accounts and stop panicking - it's the sun Ffs
eejay the dj 31,964
If Stockbridge has indeed given The Sun a run down of where the IPO monies have gone then he has by his own admission broken the Stock Exchange rules that he gave as an excuse for not being able to disclose the financial information to the meeting on Thursday because we were in the "close period". We were out of the close period on Friday morning .
