Creampuff 22,628
Cook drops Rogers at first slip. Nothing going England's way. That was Prior's catch, IMO.Prior should have had two wickets in this innings. He has to be dropped soon, IMO. His wicket keeping was always suspect and now he isn't scoring the runs to back it up.Get Bairstow in for the last two tests and see how he does. Creampuff 22,628
Good to see Rogers getting some runs on the board as well. I reckon that'll let him keep his place for the rest of the series. The only other player struggling for form,George Bailey, doesn't really have anyone pressing for recall in his position with Hames Faulkner's injury, so Australia could go unchanged for the series providing there's no injuries. As a keeper myself, I'd always back myself to take anything infront of 1st slip.
Creampuff 22,628
The bowlers are going to tire quickly in that heat, especially a lead bowler down. That will lead to progressively more loose deliveries. This pair must be thinking of posting a big, big individual score.

As a keeper myself, I'd always back myself to take anything infront of 1st slip..Anything first slip is doing that isn't between them and second slip should interest the keeper. As I type that Prior misjudged a Swann delivery and gets pegged for four byes .
Creampuff 22,628
Chris Rogers makes his 4th 50 in 9 Tests.Brings it up with yet another four and has scored 50 from 116.Aus 143-

novosleftboot 6,285
the spin on the second bounce was mental.Maybe Swann should try pitching it twice- see if that can get a wicket!
Creampuff 22,628
Warner's strike rate has dropped a bit since he's approached his century. Either he's getting nervous, or has just decided to bat like a normal cricketer for a while.

Might as well try something to ease the strain on his arm. Cook looks quite happy to bowl him into the ground.
