This forum amuses me sometimes  .

Heres a guy who a few months ago had a great game at wembley, linking up well and scoring a great individual goal, taking a premiership defender to the cleaners in the process.

Yet hes too old and not good enough for a League one / Championship side in Scotland??.

If the minor knee surgery is all it is, hes a far better player than what we have at the club.

Whether we need him or not is the other question but besides the point.

I think if he was used now and again perhaps as a sub or in games to give the younger guys a break, we could certainly do with his experience in the striking role as a mentor to the youth squad but I fear Ally would make him no1 striker and youth wouldnt get a chance

I know Ally could give the strikers plenty of advice but perhaps he is too bogged down with other areas of the team

I for one would be happy to see Kenny back if he was used properly

Kenny Miller holds out hope of return to Rangers as he uses Murray Park to battle back from knee injury

VETERAN striker is still contracted to Vancouver Whitecaps for next season but former Scotland star admits he would be keen to explore any option that would see him back in a Rangers jersey.

FORMER Rangers star Kenny Miller has left the door open for a return to Ibrox – although he admits he still expects to play for Vancouver Whitecaps next season.

Gers boss Ally McCoist is keen to sign Miller, who is working on his rehabilitation from knee surgery at the club's Murray Park training ground.

But the 33-year-old, who is contracted to his Major League Soccer side for next season, said: "There is no other agenda other than getting back fit.

"I'm thankful they are letting me use the facilities and take up some of the physio's time."

When asked whether he might return to Rangers for a third spell, Miller said: "Who knows? It's one where if there is an opportunity to do something, you then think about that opportunity.

"At the moment my main aim is to get this knee fixed and get back training and then who knows what happens after that.

"But as it stands I don't think there will be anything I will be doing other than going back to Vancouver in January."

All I am saying re- Ryan Giggs is he was playing for Man fecking Untd last year at 39!!

If Kenny can play a decent game then why is age an issue?

because man united still have the ability to buy a replacement for giggs, infact they have a few

whereas miller is the wrong side of sell on material and by the time we are back in the top division we really need to start bringing through guys to sell on

Would be an absolute disgrace if Miller is signed again. He is well past it and would no doubt stil be looking for a fairly big wage. He is definitely not required given the level we are playing.

Have a sinking feeling however, this is not what Ally believes and I expect we will see him signed again in the not too distant future
