"Ex Albion Rovers boss Peter Hetherston owns a pub in the Celtic fan plagued town of Coatbridge and says the Celtic bus that leaves from there will be going to Ibrox to watch Rovers in our Quarter Final tie"

This just actually takes this piss, this lot are actually going to be running supporters buses for a game that doesn't even involve them... Never have I seen that happen anywhere else in football.

Where is this quote from? I can't find a source besides here.

“The Phil Cole Celtic Supporters’ Club is almost as old as Celtic and the bus runs from my pub each week.

“They’re all brilliant guys and I believe they will run a bus to Ibrox to cheer on Albion Rovers since Celtic won’t be playing."

As Sir Bob Geldof said: "Give us yer fookin' money!" Dafties.

Firstly, hello again!

Absolutely brilliant draw for us. Twice in the one season, but this time much better. Trip to Ibrox, plenty cash, and loads of great publicity for Rovers (we never seem to be off Sky these days). A miracle run for us to this stage, which I obviously hope continues to a, however unlikely, semi final.

What we do not require is for our big day to be hijacked by them. Is it too much to ask that we can go along and enjoy the game like every other 'wee' team. They seem to think that we enjoy some association with them, when for the real Rovers fans nothing could be further from the truth.

what a refreshing post (tu)

Hetherston himself is probably the biggest tim of the lot going

It is beyond belief, the lengths these mongrels will go to, to be in a level four top class stadium, packed with jubilant supporters, cheering on their favourite sons.

It must feel so sad, to know that you are not anywhere near that level, and never will be, sad......... so sad!!.

"I'd rather be a Yeti than a tim, so I would, If I only could, I surely would", comes to mind when I think of these reptiles.

Sick, Sad, and Stupid, the lot of them. The Rovers fans must be pissed right off, and rightly so. Their big day shat on by the lonely planet rejects from hell.

Anyway Wee Rover, great to hear from you again, and hears hoping you have a great day out with your loyal fans, and not be too sad when the Mighty Rangers take you to task.

Hope your club makes a lot of money and you go from strength to strength. (Except in the quarters) :7325:

Mate, you're doing it wrong, you need to tell us we're called Sevco or The Rangers and that our fans are all Zombies, where have you been all this time?!

In all seriousness though, enjoy the game, but on the day, fuck Albion Rovers!

It would be the height of irony if we attract more of them to our game than their own team does.

Bring them in. The more the merrier. If they want to spend their giros watching us, so be it.

They are all wannabe bears anyhow.

It burns their very soul that they can never achieve that which they desire most.

No wonder they are so insanely jealous and bitter towards those of us who can.

I was standing outside the Louden one day, and no joke a guy literally across the street was standing talking to his pal, and he was wearing the mhanky yellow celtic away top from years gone by, the look's he was getting from everyone, and then eventually he moved, because the louden emptied out haha.

Cool story.
