... ever time we are romping a league - any league - attendances drop. competition is what brings the crowds out. Its a myth that attendences are only falling because of the performances. But these are the types of myth the Ally 'nae sayers' like to perpetuate.

Pretty sure I just said the level of opposition has an effect...?

Can't really compared the two. Advocaat was up against the cream of Europe and had an outrageous transfer budget, Ally is up against joiners and plumbers with a limited (although considerably larger than his competitors) transfer budget.

First Rangers Manager to have such limited transfer options thrust upon him, yet that is now a negative, first Rangers Manager to have a poor first season in Europe(not!!!) and not have the chance to redress it the following season, or at least the one after that, another negative.

Attendancies are down because we are stinking to watch under Ally.

Fans are sick of it.

It really is that simple, to get a feel of it just talk to the guy next to you at Ibrox or go into one of the pubs around the ground.

30 minutes after kick-off when the pub loyal now start to depart.

I know mate, its nice to show a legend a little respect.

I wrote a letter to Ally when he first got the manager's job saying how happy I was for him and hoped everything worked out. I got a reply (no doubt from his secretary) but it was signed by the man himself.

I would have been delighted if he had turned out to be a good manager (he still might) but I just do not see it happening. If he proves me wrong I will be delighted to say I got it wrong.

Nice to hear mate, might never happen but we need to wait and see.
