There is a lot of black and white thinking going on with that attitude. What is Roger up against here? Well the best athlete/tennis player ever probably. Not only that. Roger, even at absolute peak, would have lost as many against this Novak as he won. Many say Roger is past it blah blah. That is looking at his age. When you look at his shots and movement, he is still around peak playing. IMO, when Roger was winning his many Slams, this version of Novak was not in his path. Roger and Andy can only get near him if his level drops. It is not dropping and it is why both of them cannot get a Slam recently.
AyeReadyStu 70
Djokovic basically won the 4th set because of a netcord. Lucky bastard.
offminorthreat 1,467
The guy is still easily the 2nd or 3rd best player in the world and regularly makes Slam semi-finals. People writing him off yet there is daylight between him/Andy and the rest.

siamthedanger 2,913
Too good from Djokovic. Federer needed for his level to drop to what it was against Simon to stand a chance. It did not and he was comfortably put away.
allgers 735
The problem is Djokovic is still finding new gears, against Simon he was probably in second. He put away Federer without breaking a sweat.

JRodgA2k8 542
I have to admit if there's one thing I hate most about the Aus Open...apart from the Time Difference...its the scheduling for the Men's Brackets... If you are in the No1 Seeds bracket of the draw you always get an extra days rest prior to the final against the opponent from the No2 Seeds bracket. Why both Men's Semi Finals don't take place on the same day I'll never know...it's simply a bizarre stance to take. Orange Persson
sandyinroyalblue 16,478
Chance for 3 Scotsmen in finals if Andy beats Raonic with Jamie Murray in the doubles final and Gordon Reid(who is a Rangers fanatic) in the men's wheelchair final. Good luck to all three.

cushynumber 25,178
he actually played quite well after that disaster of a first game. Compounded the error though by letting 3 break points slip away. He has his work cut out today.

JRodgA2k8 542
All depends on uf Raonic can maintain his level...it's tough to do and part of the reason why these players don't make slam finals... Hopefully Andy will see this one through!
cushynumber 25,178
andys getting chances.....needs to take them though

AyeReadyStu 70
Murray should beg Lendl to come back and Mauresmo should gtf. She brings nothing to his game.

His game's fine. It's his mental strength he needs to work on, and he probably always will have to work on it. Lendl can't be the only person that can help with that. siamthedanger 2,913
2-2 now, Raonic showing signs of that leg injury, hopefully Murray can pull away in the 5th.
allgers 735
Fair play to Raonic, certain other top 10 players would have had a couple of medical timeouts by now.
B1872 21,923
Murray looking good for the final now. However he needs to really up it to have a chance against Djokovic.
