Can't help but wonder if that was the best chance he'll give of getting knocked out though. True, similar to the Anderson match at Wimbledon last year. He looked vulnerable in that one match, but outside of that he looked imperious.
allgers 735
Could that be his one collywobble, or is there more to come.
cushynumber 25,178
100 unforced errors dont go away overnight. Either way I hope the Nishikori match is a long battle - I would like to see Djokovic worn down a little.
allgers 735
Murray looks to have the beating of Tomic here, he's owned Ferrer recently, and Wawarinka has gone, looks like a Murray Djokovic final.
JRodgA2k8 542
Ferrer will be awkward enough but I have to say Andy again should have too much for him and again too much for Raonic who he will likely face in the Semi Finals...it's all ticking along nicely for Andy and he's got plenty left in the locker! cushynumber 25,178
good win for andy considering theres been a little turbulence is his family life. I think he will be quite confident of beating Ferrer. It will be interesting if he comes up against Raonic who is copying Federer and serve and volleying basically. hammer93 15,064
Getting to world number 2 has paid dividends for this tourney as Andys passage to the final is one that he should manage fairly comfortably.
allgers 735
looking at Djokovics half of the draw, my thoughts are, wouldn't want to be in there.
Creampuff 22,628
Djokovic looks back to being better than everyone. Shame, that.
cushynumber 25,178
Theres not a soul on the planet expected Berdych to beat Federer - including berdych.
JRodgA2k8 542
So Novak gets his walkover to the final then Hopefully Andy does the business against Ferrer and then somehow Monfils ends up his semi final oppenent...

At least if Andy makes the final it will end up on at a very decent time for sure.
JRodgA2k8 542
So 1-1 as it goes under the roof...Andy 4-1 up in the 3rd, hopefully he takes the set and then wraps up the 4th quickly.
JRodgA2k8 542
Through...3-1...Tie Break aside a good performance by Andy, he'll be more than happy to get through like that. Pretty much 3hrs spent on court.
CaptainAmerica18 846
First British woman semi-finalist in my lifetime. Well done Johanna Konta!

allgers 735
Woke up just in time to watch the last few games, funnily enough my fire alarm went off just after 4 this morning just as Andy was starting this match. It needed a new battery but I don't think Andy does.
cushynumber 25,178
Andy knows how to play Ferrer now - and regardless of how fit he is, coming up on your 34th birthday age catches up with you - especially the style of tennis Ferrer plays. He is never now going to hit through Andy Murray in a slam and he looked tired at the end. I feel it will be Raonic for Andy in the semi. I dont rate Monfils
the goal machine 7,810
Brilliant by Konta!
Creampuff 22,628
Konta's year could really go from strength to strength now. She'll almost certainly be seeded for the French Open, where she went out in the first round last year, so should really gain some points; and then she goes into the same situation at Wimbledon. She could well be a top 20 player by the end of the season.

siamthedanger 2,864
Murray should have too much for Raonic. Expect another Murray Djokovic final but another chance at Fed would be preferred, surely he can't serve like he did at Wimbledon which was the difference. The Australian lassie Konta is doing well, be good to see her doing the business on her own patch.
AyeReadyStu 70
Raonic will be very dangerous. Won 3 of the 6 matches he's played against Andy and he's improved again this year. Hope Murray takes him to the cleaners though, his game is boring as fuck. Serve, serve, serve.

Andys beat him the last twice and in there only grand slam meeting Andy beat him in straight sets. I dont think Murray will be unhappy with Raonic in a semi in a grand slam. He will get a lot of service returns in unlike Monfils
