Imagine bringing in Jimmy Calderwood for Warburton whilst the tims have Brendan Rodgers? We truly would turn into a mid-table shite team then.

Agree with you completely but unless a sugar daddy comes along, what else can we do ?

we have a better chance of getting second with calderwood than with warburton

we have no money

we have no window

we are not an attractive proposition

we are fucked

this is a TEMPORARY measure to make sure this season isn't completely fucked

how many times

do you think i want calderwood long term? holy fuck

that's it...

Without a club - No compy to pay.

Govan Boy.

Improved every club he has been at.

Not a nutter e.g. Billy Davies.

His sides play attractive football.

Takes no nonsense.

Respected coach and manager.

Would love the job unlike McDowell.

Has scouting contacts throught Europe.

Would be inexpensive and take a short term deal - giving us the option to extend it if things worked out.

Could we afford the sunbeds?

Even as bad as our form has been surely were not at Jimmy Calderwood stage surely we have better aspirations than that.

Like I said earlier, yes we would be lowering our aspirations, but I,d feel more confident about finishing 2nd with Wright or Calderwood in charge.

Wiki says he hasn't worked as a Manager for 3 years.

In January 2014, Calderwood spent just under a month as manager of De Graafschap before resigning. Calderwood cited the sale of several of De Graafschap's key players without adequate replacement as the reason for his resignation from the post. In July 2016, Calderwood was appointed to the board of directors at Cowdenbeath.[1]

No thanks.

I would have Nuno Capucho before Calderwood.

Capucho returned to Porto in the 2007 summer, being charged with training its junior sides for several years. His first job at the professional level occurred in 2015–16, when he led newly promoted Varzim S.C. to the ninth place (from 24 teams) in the Segunda Liga; he subsequently moved to the top flight with neighbours Rio Ave FC,[4] being fired in early November 2016 due to poor results.

but do you not think this season when we are really just trying to get the most out of a really crap position we have been put in by warburton by taking stock and winning as much as we can to secure second place we really need a proven scottish league manager?

getting a foreigner/ex player/unproven manager is just as bad as sticking with warburton

we cannot risk the scum winning more and more leagues, we have to get a winning mentality back now, not later.
