Gaz52 11,837
Imagine bringing in Jimmy Calderwood for Warburton whilst the tims have Brendan Rodgers? We truly would turn into a mid-table shite team then.

Grundy 735
I also think that the likes of Calderwood or Wright would have a better chance of securing second place this season. Not suggesting either would be a long term solution.

Not a nutter e.g. Billy Davies. His sides play attractive football. Takes no nonsense. Respected coach and manager. Would love the job unlike McDowell. Has scouting contacts throught Europe. Would be inexpensive and take a short term deal - giving us the option to extend it if things worked out. Could we afford the sunbeds?

jamess 3,448
Time to stop the experiment, and have a manager that knows how to win footie games in Scotland. Someone like Calderwood would put a backbone back in the team and get more out of them.

MasterD 7,442
The saddest thing is that he would be a sidestep and not even a backwards one. That's how shit we are.

GWR1979 1,970
Wiki says he hasn't worked as a Manager for 3 years. In January 2014, Calderwood spent just under a month as manager of De Graafschap before resigning. Calderwood cited the sale of several of De Graafschap's key players without adequate replacement as the reason for his resignation from the post. In July 2016, Calderwood was appointed to the board of directors at Cowdenbeath.[1] No thanks.

GWR1979 1,970
I would have Nuno Capucho before Calderwood. Capucho returned to Porto in the 2007 summer, being charged with training its junior sides for several years. His first job at the professional level occurred in 2015–16, when he led newly promoted Varzim S.C. to the ninth place (from 24 teams) in the Segunda Liga; he subsequently moved to the top flight with neighbours Rio Ave FC,[4] being fired in early November 2016 due to poor results.
