Shuggy 1,308
Not interested in rugby but I overhead on the radio that this 80 min game took 2 hours to complete because of the interruptions from video replay decisions?!I would hate that to happen at a football match. ThatNightInFlorence 696
I wasn't too impressed with England tonight to be honest. Looking forward to watching their game versus Wales next Saturday and seeing how they do.My tip would be South Africa to win it this year. harlands plater 17,065
I'm no Anglophobe but there's something about the middle class twits who follow English rugby that really gets my back up. Middle management arrogant arseholes.

CraigG 56
What is the point of this so-called world cup? All of the teams play each other every year anyway. What really annoys me is the amount of space and time the media devote to a minority sport while ignoring others.
DonMuffin 2,551
Rugby is fucking bent. Middle class, meat-headed gimps just constantly running into each other for 80 minutes.
dummiesoot 16,116
Some of you lot are fucking heathens, Rugby is a hugely demanding sport where, apart from the odd nugget, feigning injury is the ultimate sin. The reliance on the TMO is a bit of a fucker though. Two things I would bring into football though are: mike up the refs to let fans hear why decisions have been made - players would have to learn to stop swearing and each half is finished only when the ball goes dead. And another just occurred to me, only team captain should be able to approach the ref to question a decision. Old No7. 819
The ref stopping the game to the TMO ruined it. The worst was when Fiji scored a try about to kick the conversion and a replay on the screen showing the player was not in control of the ball the ref reversed his decision on the try thankfully Fiji got a try minutes later. ThatNightInFlorence 696
Anyone watching any of the games today? I might stick on the Springboks versus Japan given their in Scotland's pool and I think the France versus Italy game at night could be good. BlearyEyedBear 4,148
I can only ever get into the rugby when it's a British & Irish Lions tour. Good luck to the home nations though.

CaptainAmerica18 846
That was brilliant to watch. Some of the reactions in the crowd were tremendous Least I have something to wind the South African in work about now
Laudrup1984 25,100
An amazing performance from them - will be a tough game for Scotland.South Africa were poor but Japan were brilliant. Incredibly efficient, some great tries and unbelievably brave throughout, but even more so to go for the win at the end and risk losing, when the safe play would have been to take the kick.Japan are very dangerous and could scare many teams........ bomber 177
I can`t understand it when players are allowed to be given a lift up at throw in`s.surely this is cheating and going against the spirit of the game.also why do the penaty kickers need that contraption to sit the ball on.was never a great game to play but nowadays it`s a game for big jessies!!! ThatNightInFlorence 696
How good was the Japan victory? I was thinking Scotland would take 10 points from their first two games now I'm not so sure. Will be a good game to watch on Wednesday anyway.
