Good luck to Stuart.

What a damned fine and under-rated midfielder he was. One of the best slide-tacklers I've ever seen. Was very flattered to be compared to him in my younger days, albeit at a much, much, much lower level.

Sorry mate but don't think he was under-rated one bit, he was a battler and gave us some fantastic performances during his time as a player, I have fond memories of Stuart McCall.

Good luck to him.

What a great player he was for us. A true competitor, battler, warrior type who was not without technical ability. Played a significant role during his time as a player.

The way he conducted himself as a player, manager and post manager is a real credit to the guy, especially in difficult circumstances. He is an honest, humble guy who always speaks very fondly and highly of his affection for us. The excitement and passion in his voice when he reminisces about his time as a player always brings a smile to the face. One of the few good guys in the game.

Wish him and Law all the very best.

Good luck to Nicky Law, guy could play football imo. Was hard for him to find the teamwork and commitment around him in the Ally years, but still managed to be our best player in a shite team, even teaming up well with Ian Black as his sole midfield partner for a time, and for three quarters of his last season he was the only consistent player and goalscorer before being brought down to the general team level and losing the will to carrry on.

Stuart ain't daft, he's got himself a playmaker there who he can motivate and build round, bet he's not interested in any of the other baggage Mr Warburton got rid of.
