Sparkle 53,711
There's nothing to be gained slagging the op. His suggestion is wrong - but the sentiment behind it - there's a fair few of us older fans who can understand him. Tippy tappy predictable football is what we have, Hearts owned us, exact same tactics that they used in the first division and it worked again easily. Souness had balls. We don't at the moment and it hurts.
A.T.G 10,773
Souness wouldnt have enough subs to make at half time if he were managing our games and watching this pish Plus he would put McKay in the reserves due to his utter shitebagness, the boy could earn countless free kicks if he just had the balls to nip past a player when it looks 50/50, even Raheem Sterling goes full pelt and is willing to get battered when he might get into a dangerous position or could win a foul and he runs like Cinderella! Anyway, Souness is a pundit and is old school, probably lost his desire to manage and wouldn't be any good Neil McCann however talks a good game and may make an interesting and successful coach in the future but it's not always the way, Gary Neville was arguably the best analytical pundit on TV and things didn't go to well at Valencia what we need is a manager with experience, active and has played the game The last thing we need is a retired, out of touch coach with no experience! I don't know who but we are still a big deal, plenty managers would want it

Tamb 126
Ffs, Souness ? There's no chance that he'd take the job. We will have to plan for the future not resurrect the past. Everything about the strategy and budget constraints are different, MW must go so that we begin planning for next season. The next month could be painful.
