I'll trust the opinion of the trained medical professionals that we pay to make these decisions ahead of the half-arsed Google searchers on here.

Bollocks, Googles the new medical bible. And accountancy bible. And Company administration bible. And tax bible.

Exactly. We signed four injury prone midfielders this summer in Kranjcar, Rossiter, Crooks and Windass. At least one of them we won't see again this season, if ever, and the others we've barely seen anything of.

I don't think they are all 'injury prone'.

Krancjar and Crooks both had long term injuries, which the both recovered from. Kranjcar was unfortunate to pick up a 'freak' injury in training. Crooks is still fit by all accounts, just isn't first choice.

Windass is adjusting to a new more demanding regime, and getting lumps kicked out him every week. I'm sure he'll adapt.

Rossiter is the only one that's injury prone, both at us and Liverpool.

I'm sure that Jordan will be back and when he is he'll be just as good as we remember if not better....  I'm not basing this on anything other than my opinion.

Here's hoping mate.

From what glimpses we seen earlier in the season i think he can become a very good player for us if we can keep him fit and learning.

Kranjcar was retired two years obviously he's going to be prone to injuries if he get pushed too hard for months you only had to look at the sweat on him he looked like he was playing while on the marching powder.

Rossiter was known to be a sicknote Crooks was getting an operation once his league campaign finished so also injured it was bad planning on Warburton and the coaching staffs part.

So did Kris Boyd, but I think that's because he probably was

he has a history of injuries from his time at Liverpool, if i was MW and medical team. I would want to investigate why he is so prone to injury, and maybe thats what they are doing. he could be doing a lot of strength and conditioning work to try and prevent the injury from occurring in the future. when MW refers to players as "assets" rossiter optimizes this. Young lad with a lot of potential, they probably view keeping him on the sidelines for 6 months and working on his flexibility, strength etc to hopefully prevent injuries more important that trying to get him fit as soon as possible. that way you have a young lad with a lot of potential who has overcome past injuries and his legs are now made of steal as opposed to candy floss.

I used to work with a load of Scousers, in Kent many years ago, and they were always greeting about missing their home. They all think that Liverpool is some super place to live, it's a fucking shithole.

I love Liverpool! Love going to visit family there. They are among the happiest and funniest people I've ever met. The humor at Anfield in priceless. Anyway, that's just my experience. I don't want to deprive you of your shithole experience.

You with your common sense!

Half the posters on here are already chucking him in the garbage.

Obviously there is a lot more going on than meets the eye, we have literally been told fuck all about what's going on with this lad and there is no way at all that the injury that he supposedly had is still the one that's keeping him out. If he is as  highly rated as he was meant to be when we signed him then personally I'd punt him to whoever paid the most, but in all honesty I doubt any cunt would pay much for him.

He was supposed to be captain & star of England U-19's or U-21's, so how come no rich English team took him when he was available? And if he was that special, how come his old boss Brenda wasn't interested? Definitely something strange about the whole situation.

The fee involved would put the English off.

Brenda has downy Broon to play that role for what its worth.

I like the lad and rate him so really hope he comes back stronger.

Player injured - queue the conspiracy theorists - Rossiter injury prone, training regime, etc etc - look at the waghorn rumours - fat, working his ticket, disinterested - reality he was just injured and working back to fitness. No drama!

Out of interest has Rossiter been in the training pics etc with the rest of the team?

Not seen any Willie Vass training pics in a while so wondering if he's at least been around the squad.

The answer to that is; NO, Gary; and he hasn't been since he got the latest injury. That is not unusual as players with injuries spend all their days at the relevant  recuperation treatment specialists, until they are at a stage when they can start jogging/running under the watchful eye of Gary Sherriff, the strength and conditioning coach.

Or working harder because other teams have cooled interest as he's done nothing all year and he's realised he needs that contract here after all.

If it were just Rossiter with the injuries then you'd have a point with that usual melodramatic post of yours but we either aren't doing  medicals correctly or we have shite fitness coaches (there was criticism of Flannighan at Hibs)

or it could just be plain bad luck ..

The point is you can't blame people for asking the question

Caught onto Lescott mind you.

Agree with this, going from just Waghorn and Forrester being out last season to Hill, Wilson, Forrester, Waghorn, Holt, Kiernan, Windass, Crooks and Niko is a bit odd.

Waghorn and Forrster were both impact injuries, fuck all to do with conditioning or training methods.

This year, fair enough. People have picked up a few niggles.

That's what I mean, we seen Forresters and Waghorns injuries (Kiernan and Holts? too). So that's understandable, but likes of Wilson being suddenly injured and Niko being out for the whole season due to a "freak" training injury.
