Helander

I’ve been a big supporter of Helander since he joined. He has generally been good and the results when he has played are good. I felt Balogan should have played last night as he is quicker on the ground than Helander.
i would play Helander on Sunday to get him back on his good run though but play Balogan against Aberdeen and then Benfica at Ibrox

What does the club have him defined as mate?

Defender - yes or no?

Clutch at whatever straw you want, bet you don't even answer a simple Yes or No.

They have Hagi and Aribo down as midfielders when they've been playing on the wing at times, so explain that one?

Or is this conclusive enough evidence?

Why would a defender be playing in those positions of the pitch?

Here's Goldson's.

Helander's.

And finally Barisic.

He lander is a good player who had a bad night. Won’t be the first and definitely not the last. Over the piece he has been a good addition to the team. If he was the captain of an International team who came up from the English Premiership on massive wages and an ego to match, and then turned out to be a fucking haddie who couldn’t keep weans out of a close. Then we would have the right to complain. 😂😂😂

So you'll not answer a simple yes or no. 😂😂 as expected.

But not  a yes or no to what the club have him categorised as. Which is a defender despite all your pretty heat maps.

2 defenders have been potm. Neither is your best defender by a country mile.

I'm loving you having as much of a howler now as Helander did last night tbh.

The club could categorise him as a chest of drawers for all I care, still isn't a defender.

Still can’t get my head around the fact that the guy has had one poor performance in 18 games (which mainly stemmed from making a mistake early doors against a very good side and never quite regaining his composure and confidence BTW) and now people are deriding him, wanting him to “GTF” and saying we need to replace him because he isn’t quick enough. Some people need to get a grip and stop acting like spoilt, petulant children.

Yep, he had a bad night nothing more it happens players are not robots.

We dont have a chest of drawers in our categories though mate. Thats daft. We do have defenders, and that's the category he sits in 👍

It was a simple Yes mate.

Didn’t cause - but could have prevented

if he could of matched the pace of the guy he was marking. Particularly their second  and third. He looked like he wouldn’t win the dad’s race at sports day for their third ffs.

In fairness, it’s pretty rare that centre halves  have the same kind of pace in comparison to the number of speedy forwards they play against.

They use their positional sense, in tandem with their other defenders, to nullify the attacker.  And that’s where the problem lay last night with their 3rd.

The other two were just howling mistakes by Fil (who did actually catch up with the boy for the 2nd)
