By being thrown under a bus, dropped for worrall after him and goldson conceded something like ten goals in all comps until the villareal away game where worrall was thrown in

Then the following season being once again thrown under a bus (him and edmundson) while goldson got away with numerous bombscares

You've had this debate on here before im sure

He got replaced by Worrall because Worrall was a better centre back

I would have assumed you could have worked that out yourself, obviously not so what's the point of discussing it with you.

Well have a bash at explaining it then.

Does Scott Arfield having not signed a new contract yet mean he wants to leave? If not, what makes him different to Goldson? How about McGregor? Does his lack of a new contract mean he doesn't want to be here? Or does it mean we don't want him here if we haven't offered him one?

Goldson not signing a new deal yet doesn't mean he doesn't want to remain at the club.

It's kind of about the stage they're at in their careers. If Shagger doesn't sign on for another year it will be him ending his playing career at Rangers. Arfield would like to stay if something can be sorted as I understand.

Goldson is at a different stage in his career, rightly or wrongly he believes he is on the up and can  command a much higher wage at Rangers or elsewhere if he wants to.

It's Goldson who's trying holding Rangers to ransom here, the other two players clearly are not.

Rangers haven't offered the other two new contracts yet afaik. Arfield has publicly stated he wants to stay, can we take from that the club don't want him to stay?

His first game he sold the first goal, and lets not forget about killie away that all but killed our title challenge

Katic hadnt put a foot wrong before gerrard binned him for worrall

Hardly sold the first goal, and aye he had a stinker for that. As did McAuley and McGregor for the second that really killed the chances then.

His performance at New Year against them is as good as if not better than any Katic performance. Katic was and always will be ridiculously overrated

The same katic who strolled the 2-1 pre covid game and scored the winner?

Worrall never produced anything better than katic, and Katic was our player

Ah the game we went to a back 3 with Flanagan in that back 3, and he still never caused a goal

Concede two goals from headers inside the box and the CB is blameless  even the one where he lost his man and made a half-arsed attempt at winning a header. (Goldson was wank too)

So was Worrall. He played for Rangers that entire season. He was as much a Rangers player as any of the others in the squad.

No he was borrowed, and given he went back to his owner club, what exactly did he contribute that katic couldnt have, we spent money to loan him and pay him ans for what?

You can't compare McGregor and Arfield's situations to Goldson's one. They are at different stages of their career and I think we need Goldson more than we need Arfield, still unsure about McGregor and the GK spot.

Any different to a player on a one-year deal?

Why can't we compare them? Why we can take that Goldson doesn't want to be here because he's not signed a new contract, but its not fair to say the club don't want Arfield to stay because we've not offered him a new deal despite his publicly-stated willingness?
