Seen this list on FB I take issue with a few of the names on here and the names missing no mention of Paolo Maldini, Ryan Giggs or Francesco Totti 🤷‍♂️

Who in your opinion are some of the best examples and is John Greig our best and only true example of what you'd call a one club man?

It's not a list one one-club players. Such as Gerard Pique

Seems to be a list of current players with the most years at one club on reflection, but I was coming at it more from the one club for one's entire career angle.

Always baffled me why players like Raul and our ex manager who is probably the most famous example, go through their entire career at one club then spend the last year or two at a lesser team just winding down the clock.

Gerrard's was simply about money and the lifestyle in LA. He's said that previously. Didn't feel he was ready to retire and having 100k a week after tax to live in Malibu and go through the motions was too good to refuse.

IIRC, Raul was largely pushed out the door at Real over the number 7 jersey.

No doubt it was about the money and im sure his wife enjoyed the lifestyle living in LA.

But the 34 apps for LA Galaxy takes the shine off the CV imo.

Ryan Giggs played for Man City as a kid.
